Just like children benefit from seeing a pediatrician for their general healthcare, we believe that your child's dental health will benefit from seeing a pediatric dentist. Children are not just little adults - and just like the pediatrician knows the specific needs of your child's overall health, a pediatric dentist understand the specific needs of your child's dental health.
We first will work to make your child comfortable in the dental setting and will address and concerns or worries your child may have. Only after your child is comfortable will we worry about the teeth. We will explain things to your child in a fashion that's appropriate for their age without using and scary sounding words.
Please Keep Your Appointments - When you make an appointment for your child, we are setting aside a specific amount of Dr. Thom's time just for you so that your child will have Dr. Thom's complete attention. We do not double book assuming that a certain percentage of patients will not keep their appointments.
A pediatric dentist is a dentist who trains an additional two years to specialize in treating infants, children, teenagers, and special needs patients. Just like a pediatrician is best suited to treat the medical needs of your child, a pediatric dentist is trained to provide specialized care for your child's teeth.
Children often have dental injuries. Whether it's a toddler who is learning to walk or a teen who's playing sports, injuries to the face, mouth, and teeth are common. If your child loses consciousness, vomits, or has unusually sized pupils, then see a physician immediately. Deal with the dental injury after seeing the physician.

I was extremely happy with the whole staff and the dentist Dr Tom. I've heard he is the best and he made me and my son feel very comfortable. He made a plan that doesn't include sedating my 22month old like another dentist office was trying to do. I went in as a nervous wreck and walked out smiling with the plan he put in place. Go to kidfox it's worth they are AMAZING!!!!

My husband and I brought our daughter here for her first dental appointment. She was excited but nervous, but Chloe was so kind and patient with her. Chloe explained each tool and each process, which helped our daughter so much! She loves to know how things work. Chloe also let her choose a TV show to watch, and even let her help brush her own teeth. She was uncomfortable with Dr. Thom, but that had nothing to do with him - he was so patient and understanding. I love that they asked our daughter for her permission before touching her in any way. It is very important to us to teach our daughter

We LOVE Kitfox! They are so patient, kind, great with the kids and rational with their treatment plans! For example, my three year old had some small cavities and instead of jumping straight to drilling and filling, Dr. instead wanted to try a more conservative fluoride treatment so as not to traumatize my child. It has worked beautifully! 6 months and we just had our 2nd application and the cavities are nearly gone and my kid ADORES going to the dentist! They are great with parents too. On time, kind, and considerate. You can’t go wrong by coming here!
