I discovered Dunn's when I first came to Waco because I needed some work done on my car and several people recommended Dunn's. I was told that Henry Dunn and his wife Myrtle ran a fine shop. They had a reputation for treating people fairly and courteously and they stood behind their work. Boy have they lived up to this reputation and more.

We took our car in for an alignment. Dunn's has great prices and great customer services over the phone and in person. We ended up ordering 2 new tires from them while our car was in the shop. The 2 new tires actually made our car ride smoother. The new tires we bought from another company were riding rough. We highly recommend Dunn's Auto Repair. We will definitely use them again.

Spoke to Cecil Dunn today--needed quick-turn service for a dead battery and other routine maintenance. He was very patient and the pricing was very competitive (with parts that were better than local "big chain" shops). Extremely friendly, top-notch service from a business you can trust! Dunn’s is the most honest auto repair place I have used. I usually work on my own vehicles, but when it’s something I can’t handle I take it to Dunn’s. I trust them 1000%. They will give you the honest diagnosis of your vehicle and will not try and charge you for something you don’t need. Very honest!

OLD SCHOOL HONESTLY: We were visiting Waco, and I took my Jeep in for what I thought could be a starter issue. Mike, at the front desk, was friendly and assured me that they would look at it carefully. By the end of the day, Mike called and told me they tested everything and couldn't get the starter to fail. He said that he couldn't justify selling me on something I might not need at the moment and left the decision up to me. They kept the Jeep overnight and again, no problems in the morning. When I picked it up, Mike told me there was no charge even for the time involved for looking

The Service at Dunn's is great, they always take care of you and tell you everything your car needs, always ask for Dennis whenever you go, great worker and will get you taken care of as fast as he can. He has worked in all my vehicles and they have always came out spot on! Highly recommend this shop!

This is a total rip off garage. I went there for an alignment and I was told my lower ball joints were bad. He also said it was a very labor intensive job and quoted me $650 to do it. His mistake was that I am a mechanic with 20 years experience and over 20 certifications to list on my resume. My ball joints are perfect. Furthermore, ball joints are not that labor intensive. They aren't fun but lower ball joints take under an hour a side to do. I have replaced countless ball joints in my career. This shop has been caught red handed by a real expert! Avoid this place, they are theives.

My daughter is a student at Baylor. Based on reviews, when it was time for her to get an oil change, I had her go to Dunn's. She has a BMW X3. When she arrived, she reports she was surprised to be met with attitude, with the employee telling her he'd have to go somewhere to get the oil/filter, so it would take longer than expected. She waited at a nearby Barnes and Noble for an hour, then got a call telling her that nobody was comfortable changing the oil on her car. Hard to believe that took an hour to discover? Took my equinox here yesterday after our check engine light came on, they were able to take care of me right then which was so nice. The gentleman I spoke to, Mike, explained what was going on without being condescending. They were a very nice and affordable. Can't say enough nice things! Found my repair shop!

One great example of their honesty & integrity was when I thought we needed a repair to an A/C on one of our vehicles. They called to tell me that it did in fact need a repair BUT they would be taking care of it! They had looked up in their paperwork and found we had already had the repair done previously and it was under their warranty. I did NOT ask for them to do this. I did not even remember having that repair done! They also ended up not using

My family has been using Dunn's Brake and Tire for years time after time they get the job done thoroughly, competitively priced, and most cases same day. I travel for work and put over 60,000 miles on my car last year. Dunn's replaced my brakes at the beginning of the year and I didn't have any problems the whole year. I was recently in there because I ran over a tire on I-35. After thoroughly inspecting the car. They found that I had bent the control arm. I took my pickup in to have my brakes checked because of a temporary squeak which I though might be sensors letting me know it was time to replace the brake pads . Eleven years and 121,000 miles ago I had these brake pads and some associated work done on this vehicle at Dunn Brake..
The work had a lifetime warranty so long as I kept the original paperwork which I did.
Dunn's took about an hour to: test drive my vehicle, remove the tires, inspect the brakes, replace everything and test drive again. I was told I had only used up half of the pads. The charge to me was zero!

I've been using Dunn's for about a year now for taking care of general repairs on several of my cars. Everytime they have been fairly priced and got the job done promptly. They've done a cluthch change on a Honda for me, AC overhaul on a Chevy truck, a few oil changes and a front end alignment on a camaro and a brake job. On my most recent visit, I was having problems with my turn signals and expected to replace the switch on the column for around $200. Much to my relief, I got a call and Dunn's informed me that the mechanic cleaned some contacts on a connector and everything
