We went to establish care. My cat has a chronic and stable health condition (hypoparathyroidism). The doctor refused to see her because they only care for well animals. They said they don’t have the capacity to see any sick animals (which mine isn’t sick). So if your animal has any chronic condition (kidney disease, thyroid disease, etc) or you anticipate they may get sick some day, I wouldn’t waste your time going there.

Customers of this particular location for almost 50 years, we recently had to wait 30 minutes to be seen by anyone in an exam room, which made our dog very anxious, leading to his worst experience at a vet in his fifteen years. This doctor offers affordable pet care, and that's a plus. But his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. A lot.
Update: It has been a couple of days since our dog was seen in Dr. Shaw's office. Our dog is clearly suffering from PTSD after his appointment. Fortunately, after a couple of terrible days for him, our dog is back to being his old self again. But we will

Nursing staff is absolutely wonderful. The Dr tho is rude and treats you like ur bothering him. Dr also told me they weren't educated enough to run a blood test on my cat. That I had to take her to a specialist to have her tested for feline leukemia. But yet the office offers that test for new spays/ neuters.
