I rescue cats here in Pittsburgh & I have brought in quite a few of them to Edgebrook Vet Clinic . The staff is always very kind and patient and caring with the animals. Dr. Shaw takes his time to look at each one and answer any questions. He’s fair and overall just an excellent, very knowledgeable , doctor.

Incredibly kind and understanding staff who made the entire visit much easier. Surprisingly low prices too! A bit of a long wait to get seen, but they had a ton of pets to see before us when we went and we were a walk in. Absolutely worth the trip and 100% recommend them to any and everybody.

We took our dog here while traveling for an ear infection. Multiple staff attended to him for a long time. He got a very through exam and competent treatment. The staff was great and everyone there obviously cares about their job. Also the price was very reasonable.

This place is a godsend!! It was taking weeks to get into any vet clinic in my area and I am so thankful I was able to walk in and get my pup treated. Leslie and Haley and the Doctor were so friendly and kind towards my dog! Care was super affordable too! Thank you guys!!

They were awful… They were totally empty no customers one person just left came in with a sick dog… I was so excited to find a vet that was open we drove around for 2 1/2 hours or more… Everybody was packed… Had my daughter with me and my husband… We are all getting cranky and hungry LOL and walked into the clinic. And he listen to us talk for five minutes or more and then told us about the policy one person per animal in clinic… I left with my daughter so he can work on my dog and he didn’t like my attitude and turned us down!! Really

Staff and Vet are personable and professional while providing affordable care for our furry family members.

We have been taking our fur balls to Dr. Shaw for the past 9 years. My dog Monster actually loved going to Dr. Shaw for his regular check ups. This past week we had to make a decision for our sweet boy that no one ever wants to make. Dr.Shaw and his wonderful Vet techs were so patient and kind to us. They knew how hard it was for us to say goodbye to our boy and I just really appreciate the way they were always so nice to Monster and myself especially in his final moments.

We’ve taken our 5 year old Pit Mix here since he was a puppy. Today he had to be treated for a tick bite and updated on shots. He was more nervous than usual and he’s a bit of a handful being 83 pounds and every single staff member we worked with was helpful and caring, they were so sweet, and patient with him. They sat down to give him a treat and make him relax some, helped me hold him for his shots as well. The staff here is amazing!

I took my cat here for an eye infection. The facility was very clean, smelled fresh, and the staff worked extremely well with my terrified kitty. I made another appointment for grooming after my wonderful experience. Dash says thank you for fixing my eye!

We are so thankful for Doc and his staff for saving my dogs life! Chevy was so sick a little over a year ago - we didn't know if he would make it another day let alone another year. They treating him back to health and loved on him at each visit. Edgebrook Veterinary Clinic , thank you !!!!

Recently noticed my normally healthy cat was sick. Dr. Shaw and his staff we're amazing he told me exactly what was wrong and what needed to happen. Was reasonable priced for a surgery that was literally life changing for my cat. Was very caring and compassionate would highly recommend. My nieghbors and other family members also go here

Dr Shaw and staff are great. They are always very helpful and always ask how we are as soon as we arrive. Easy in and out and quick efficient care for our pups . Tu for staying open through these tough times when some vets are closing!

Dr. Shaw and his team are amazing! My poor kitty had a mammary gland tumor and I have been a wreck since I found out. They took great care of my cat during surgery and they were thorough in explaining everything to me and her medicine. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

I had to have my cat put down today and I can honestly say everyone was very compassionate and took great care of my sweet boy.

Chuck Shaw the vet is a terrible person! My two dogs have gone to Edgebrook Veterinary Clinic a few times. My one dog was seen several months ago for an ear infection. He tried to sell me several products that I didn't need (many were simple over the counter items available at a local pet store but double the price from him). When I questioned him… he became defensive. I bought what I needed and moved on.
My other dog was limping so since Edgebrook Veterinary Clinic held all my dog's records we went there due to the urgent nature. We waited an hour. When Chuck Shaw finally came back he said

If your pet is legit sick. Do not waste your money going here. You will just end up having to go somewhere els.
