The Doctor(s) and staff at Acacia Animal Hospital believe in treating your pet as if he or she was a member of our family. We will recommend the same procedures and products we would want for our own pets and emphasize preventative care. Our Mission is to maximize the health of your pet. Acacia Animal Hospital Tucson is a state-of-the-art, full service hospital with highly qualified staff who provide the best care available to our patients. Keeping in mind that your companion's life span is shorter than ours, and their health can change significantly over a 12-month period, we tailor an examination schedule for each individual based on age and general health.

I am so greatful to Acacia Animal Hospita! I've been taking my dogs there for years and they have always been very careing and professional even through covid when their policy is to remain in your car and they come out for ones pet. I had an emergency and i had to run in with my dog that was chocking on something that i could get out and they quckly took him from me removed the object that was stuck in his back molar. They were so quick and compationate and I will forever be grateful to everyone at Acacia!

I recommend this vet to any and ALL pet owners. I always get the same vet tech and she is seriously so phenomenal. She is the sweetest gal ever and always and makes sure they are comfortable before jumping in to the visit. She really does care, she remembers my other kitties from previous visits. 💜Even got my handsome boy to pur today even though he gets super skiddish while at the vet. I never feel like they are trying to upsell me or get me to purchase anything that is unnecessary. Wait time is literally close to nothing, if at all.

Dr. Laudonio is always so kind and takes such good care of my bunnies. Every single member of the staff at Acacia Animal Hospital are kind and helpful. I full believe the reason my rabbits survived their neuters with little to no complications is because of the wonderful staff and Dr. Laudonio. Thank you!

I have been taking my dog to Acacia for a little over a year now. I went there because my dog needed a female vet. Dr Becker was our vet. My dog's 1st visit (Feb. 2020) was good with Dr. Becker. She told me that his femurs were not in his hip joints and that he also had a blown out knee. Since I had just gotten my dog I felt I needed to give him some time to get used to me. My dog is on phenobarbital because of high anxiety and being diagnosed with epilipsy. I was told that he should have his blood checked out every 6 months to check his liver function due to the pheno. An appointment was scheduled while in the office with the Vet a couple months ago. Today was the appointment and upon arrival I was told this would be a vet tech appointment. When I asked to spend a minute with the vet I was told

The staff here is always very friendly and personable. They try every possibility to get your pet seen same day if it's urgent. The exam fees are a bit higher than other clinics I've gone to, but I feel the interaction with each person there is worth it. They make me feel like they really care about my animals. I would highly recommend them to any pet owner.

Just finished my initial visit and color me IMPRESSED. They got me in before my scheduled time and went above and beyond with service. They treated both Agave and myself with good, professional service and offered plenty of advice for a new rabbit owner. I will 100% recommend Acacia, especially Jeanette and Dr Tolbert.

Cookie was driving me nuts wanting to go outside every 10 minutes and many times would just go out, stand there for a few minutes and want back in!! To her to Acacia for this reason and also because she seemed to be drinking more than usual. Something wasn't quite right. Got an appointment for Cookie to see Dr. Coverdill. They did an ultrasound and found a mass close to her bladder which was causing her to think she had to pee. Dr. Coverdill called me and spent over a 1/2 hour explaining everything to me including treatment options and best test to give her to determine if mass is cancer

This place is all about the money. They upsell you. They recommend shot after shot after shot and charge a premium for them. We scheduled a follow up feline leukemia second shot three WEEKS after the first and charged for another exam. “Standard policy” was the answer. The cat did not need another exam three weeks later. The cat just needed a second shot. They lost three animals and lot of bad press from our family.

I was beyond impressed by staff and their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help. We are very lucky to have been referred to Dr. Laudonio, he truly cares for your pet as if it was his own.

I used Acacia for a long time and Dr. Olsen was the reason why. Since her departure I have dealt with incompetent vet techs, clueless vets and disorganized practices. I kept hoping for each visit to get better. I was unhappy when Dr. L took 5 teeth out during a dental because they COULD get infected but were perfectly healthy teeth. I was unhappy with the vet who couldn't find a large lump without me pointing it out. I was unhappy with the pushiness of heart worm medication. Most of all, and the final straw was when my dog with noted skin issues was given a pain shot during her dental and

I only take my cars here, nowhere else. The staff is amazing. Not only are they professional but happy to be doing what they're doing.
Being that I work at the Trader Joe's in the same lot, I see the staff regularly and they're always in good spirits.
I'd recommend them to anyone who wants what's best for their furry friends. A+++

My daughter was out of town and her 10 year old cat "Jill" needed attention to her nails that we're quite long. I was referred to them by NW as they are not doing nails because of Caronavirus. So we brought the cat to Acacia and they were following all Caronavirus protocol which was good. They said we would have to pay for a complete physical to get the nails done so we were prepared to do that. We arrived early and we told them we would wait for our assigned time, but maybe they could take her early. She had had a physical at NW 8 months ago so they could get any info. They

A few months ago my dog suffered an injury from a groomer and was brought here by the groomer for stitches. When I went to Acacia to be with my pup, I was so impressed by the care the Doctor and the Techs were giving to him. Fast forward to a few days ago when I noticed my other dog had a big red bump on her paw and I needed to bring her in to get checked up. The doctor is efficient and great at his job but, the staff can use some work. Every time I call I get a different story or they can't find a document saying I paid. It seems with money, it can go from high to low and if they don't communicate you have to be responsible to make sure you're paying the right thing.
I only come here because of the doctor and his care for my dog. Five stars for him. -2 because the staff can't communicate, and always seem very confused.

New patient and client to Acacia. I adopted my Red Heeler from PACC, and as a stray, we had no medical history. All of the staff were fantastic at Acacia. From the ladies at the counter, the techs, and our new vet is amazing. Dr. Coverdill and her people were kind, thoughtful, and caring. They were very thorough in diagnosis, treatment, and in administering care to my dog. I've had seven dogs and delt with dozens of vets over the years. So excited to have found Acacia and thankful for their wonderful staff. I would highly recommend this practice to everyone I know.

My cat Samson broke his femur up in the hip socket. Surgery was the only option.
Acacia promised me they would call later on the day of surgery to tell me how Sam did. They didn't. I called them the next day. Samson had done fine; the surgery was successful. I liked Dr. Laudonio. He told me how he wore colors that made cats feel safe, and about his own cat. I planned on recommending him.
The bill was $2400 included a follow up visit in 7 days & taking the stitches out 10-12 days later. I didn't do the 7 day follow up. I called for stitches removal, the 1st available appointment

I can't thank the Acacia Hospital enough. From the moment I walked in the door, I was impressed.
My 1 year old Yorkie had ingested rat poison and I was beyond worried. The staff was kind, and went out if they're way to be kind to Mia, sitting on the floor to play with her, talking to her, loving on her. Of course I love my dog, but they made me feel like they loved her too.
This isn't just a job for these employees, they really care about what they're doing. I can't thank them enough for their attention and thoughtfulness.
