My specialties are working with couples, families, and individuals that are struggling with communication issues, addiction issues, anxiety, depression, other mood disorders, anger issues, victim's of domestic violence, and co-dependency issues. I also enjoy working with children and families that are going through transitions, like divorce, moving, and employment issues.
Families, couples, and marriage counseling can sometimes be difficult for even the best of therapists because each member brings many different family histories. We all grow up in families and learn how act in families based on who and what is happening in that system. This can affect how we interact with others all our lives.

Many people in our society struggle with various addictions and mental health disorders. I have helped people who struggle with alcohol addiction, drug addiction, eating disorders, compulsive gambling, and video game addiction work on resolving these underlining issues. Most people with addiction issues usually have underlining mental health issues that need to be treated for them to gain long-term sobriety.
Anxiety is something that exists in everyone's life to a certain extent, and in a way it is medically known to be helpful as well. Because, anxiety helps us stay alert and be reactive to our circumstances, whether joyful or painful. However, when the anxiety reaches the stage where it overwhelms you mentally and physically, and affects your normal routine of life, you need the help of a good counselor and maybe medications.
Depression is a normal thing we all go through from time to time because of losses, injustices, and abusive we have experienced from a broken world. When someone is clinically depressed it can affect many different areas of a person's life, including work, relationships, not wanting to be involved in activities they used to enjoy, feeling great sadness or anger.
We all grow up in families and learn how act in families based on who and what is happening in that system. This can affect how we interact with others all our lives. When people grow up with trauma, addiction, verbal, physical, and sexual abuse, or other dysfunctions in systems they can take on roles to help them get their needs met, which are dysfunctional.
Individual treatment is often termed as psychotherapy, and is meant to help people with their emotional issues, which can range in order of their severity or intensity. Whether it is the problem of repressed childhood that you are facing, or an emotional breakdown due to divorce, failure or loss of a loved one, a professional counselor can help you revive your mental health through systematic counseling.
