Hoping to warn future guests. We have fond memories in this restaurant from a few years back, and are sad to be be nixing this off our list.
Mid-meal, our table noticed a cockroach crawling up the wall behind us. When we flagged down the wait staff, they were un-phased, making it seem like a regular occurrence. They attempted to compensate by asking, "how about another round of drinks?" and laughing it off, as if additional alcohol would cure the situation. Someone from our own table had to get up and kill the roach. The entire experience was very uncomfortable.

Had tickets for the Count Basie Theater, wanted to park and walk. I had heard mixed reviews, decided to check it out. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was not even mediocre! I ordered rigatoni with eggplant sauce, should be a no brainer, the eggplant pieces were huge and not cooked though!! The sauce was cold. My Boyfriend ordered the chicken Marsala, it was strangely brown, after tasting, it was clear, there was BBQ sauce in it!!! Tasted nothing like Marsala. Very pricey, not worth it! Won't be back! So many choices in Red Bank, we wont be going back..

A lovely meal before seeing a show. We had an incredibly friendly and attentive waiter named Eli; who made the experience even better. I had the Penne Ala Vodka which was amazingly good and then split the cookie lava cake for dessert. The only thing about the lava cake was that the berry sauce was very bitter and kinda ruined the dish and doesn’t mix well with chocolate.

Do restaurants not train their bartenders to be customer conscious? We sat for 20 minutes in front on a service bartender and a bartendress and got not a hello or greeting of any kind let alone service. I literally had to flag them down and they still didn't take our order . Do they not know that their performance leads to their tip amount? Horrible service on a slow night but we aren't the only ones to complain. Other patrons complained as well. Never going back. So sorry since this is all of the surrounding restaurants. Where is the professional help?

I ended up getting diarrhea from their food. I'm suspecting is their tuna. It was too raw. No wonder. Grubhub was super understanding.
The scallops appetizer was salty and inedible. It came with corn and bacon and zucchini. The scallops themselves are those really salty kinds.
The halibut itself seemed alright. It wasn't so dry. The fish itself was tasteless. It didn't have any taste. It came with huge clumps of tomato? There are canned beans in there as well.

I made reservations over the phone the day before because of the holiday and it being a weekend. I even received a confirmation message on my phone acknowledging the time and date. But when we got there for dinner the following evening the girls at the front desk couldn't find our reservation. All five of them took turns searching while repeatedly asking if I used a different name.
Finally one of them acquiesced to still seat us in the dining room despite their obvious suspicions about my claim to have a reservation.
This was one of only a few times we've ventured out for dinner

I would rate this place as a lot higher, maybe even a five, but there was a roach crawling on the wall by my chair. I was there with my father and his wife and another couple. When my father's wife let the waiter know, his exact response was "yeah, we know, we have a problem. I already killed like two of them today. Don't worry, the kitchen is clean though". And walked away. Didn't bring the manager or anything. We were the table RIGHT NEXT TO THE KITCHEN! And it was very early, maybe 6pm on Saturday. Went here for lunch and was expecting a way better food experience than I had. This was recommended by my friend even though I had reservations about going here. The place is nice however the food was not. My friend ordered the pizza Fichi e Formaggio and I ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese. My pasta dish was okay but not worthy of a review. However my friends pizza was odd tasting not sure if it was solely the crust being weird and unflattering in taste but I couldn't place what was off. But I was very disappointed. Didn't say anything to the server because we were having a nice time

Absolutely beautiful, trendy and delicious food. Nothing bad to say at all. Had been here once before a long time ago, and it was just as good the second time. Started with the meatball appetizer, super tender and really very good. There were 3 of us and it had 3 meatballs so it was perfect. They also brought some nice warm bread, butter and olives. I got the fresh tagliatelle with bolognese, absolutely fantastic and a nice lunch portion. My husband and son split a vodka pizza and sausage sandwich. They said everything was great. Poor service. The hostess, a young underage blonde does not know what greeting an arriving guest means. Just sat on her high chair with an attitude. Do these people even realize that they are in the hospitality industry? Waiter had no sense of attention to detail. Had to ask for utensils. Had to ask for bread. Water was not poured into glasses. Slow for everything to come out. A glass of wine took 12 minutes. How long does it take to pour a glass of wine? Seriously? The food took forever. The steak was way below average. No flavor. Can't stand seeing one star reviews but yet at the same time they say "I like the food and the service was fine, but I just don't see myself going back" do you understand that your one star review affects their overall score??? Just don't go back no need for the 1 star... anyway rant over. We have been to Pazzo many times and even for a large bridal shower and the service is always great, good people and good food! One of the many gems in Red Bank. We really enjoy sitting at the bar for drinks, apps, and pasta!! Yum.

Pazzo is a local favorite with excellent food and cocktails. It's not on Broad or Monmouth, the two main streets in Red Bank, but It doesn't seem to matter; it's always packed. Their salads are amazing (my favorite is the Caesar), their pasta is prepared to perfection. The servers seem to happy and welcoming. The Limoncello Italian wings are delicious, as well as the Polpette Damiano (meatball appetizer). Pazzo has a full bar as well as outdoor seating. Came here for their Monday night deal - 1/2 priced pizza and pasta. As soon as we sat down warm fresh bread was brought over to the table with butter and olives soaked in olive oil - amazing! The bolognese is my favorite dish here and a very popular one, it never disappoints. We asked for fresh shaved parmesan cheese (not grated - shaved) it's so delicious I would recommend everyone get it to add on their salads or pasta dishes. The buffalo mozzarella wasn't my favorite. It was cold, I would've preferred it warm, but the roasted tomatoes and peppers served with it had lots of flavor

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. It was our first restaurant experience dining out since Covid quarantine started in 2020. We were a bit nervous, but the tables were spaced out, all staff was wearing masks, and there was a lot of outdoor space as well as ventilation indoors.
We were a bit early for our reservation but they sat us right away anyway. The food came out super fast and was delicious! The cocktails were amazing. I had the blood orange mule (highly recommend) and my husband had the apple cider old fashioned which he also really enjoyed.

This is our favorite go to restaurant. Food is always delicious and fresh. The staff is very accurate and welcoming. The manager Vincent runs a beautiful establishment. Very personable and professional as well. Really brings this restaurant to the next level of dining .The Chilean sea bass is the best I ever had. Desserts and drinks are top shelf . Definitely hands-down one of the best places to eat in the Redbank area.

Went to Pazzo for lunch for a friend's birthday. The outdoor seating was very spacious and felt very safely spread out. We ordered meatballs as an appetizer and they were very good, hot and full of flavor. We both got the grilled chicken pesto sandwich and it was a great lunch. The chicken was perfectly grilled and the sandwich was just enough to fill me up for the rest of the day. I really liked this restaurant and I definitely would come back.

This is my first time in Red Bank. Since our first choice didn't pan out, I had to scramble to find another spot to dine at. Restaurants here are far away from each other. While walking we happened upon this place. It was crowded but they were able to seat us at the very end of the restaurant outside at the building next door. Our waiter was super friendly but he rarely came by.

We came here a week after the opening post Covid. Dining area outdoors was huge extending to the building next to Pazzo. We ordered Spaghetti with truffle sauce and mushrooms, pizza with vodka sauce and pizza with meatballs. Delicious! Had the hazelnut torte for dessert and it was excellent.
Overall, a great dining experience after finally able to dine out!

Really enjoyed this place. They have their own take for the pappardelle Bolognese but it was delectable and I would certainly order it again. The scallops appetizer was pretty good. My table ordered 4 filet mignons and each person had theirs cooked a little different than they ordered it. One in particular was burned on the outside but still pink on the middle, so seems like it just was cooked wrong. The service was mostly nice but there's a few young kids on staff that are slightly unprofessional.
