Internally Happy
Beneficial for abdominal and pelvic health issues, such as painful menses, fertility issues, digestive disorders, PCOS, menopausal issues, fibroids, etc. A treat for the feet! Reflexology balances the body by applying pressure to specific reflexes on the feet that are associated with the organs of the body.

Internally Happy provides personalized, therapeutic wellness services, including massage, reflexology and nutrition counseling and maya abdominal therapy. Our services are designed to help you achieve a sense of wholeness and balance in your life.
Services
An ancient healing modality that balances the body and nervous system. It is an extremely effective way of activating the parasympathetic nervous system and encouraging the body to relax and heal. Reflexology is done by applying pressure to specific areas on the feet that are mapped to all areas of the body.
Designed to address your health goals, the Healthy Basics Program focuses on resolving concerns specific to you and your body. Working together, you and I will explore what you hunger for: not only looking at food, but also at what nourishes your overall well-being. As a nutrition and health counselor, I will work with you to help you find balance in both your life and the foods you eat every day.
If you suffer from temporomandibular joint disorder or clench your jaw at night or grind your teeth and/or have jaw or neck pain or headaches, receive a series of specifically focused massage, for this condition. Massage is also very helpful for the underlying stress that contributes to the clenching.
Tips are appreciated, but not an obligation. If you are happy with my services, another way to show your appreciation is the referral of your family and friends as well as online feedback. If you need to reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you give at least 24 hours notice. Failure to cancel within 24 hours will result in a 50% service charge.

Pamela is an amazing massage therapist and expert health coach on all things to do with women's health. She really supported me through a difficult time in my life during a terrible endo flare and recovering from a failed IVF cycle.

Highly recommend Pamela for a wide range of healing benefits for both bodywork and nutrition!

This review is long overdue, but for a little history on my healing experiences with her: I'd been seeing Pamela for several years, for her wonderful traditional massages, when one day I woke up with a double crick in my neck, leaving me without any range of motion. None of my usual ways of treating a crick were working and then I remembered Pamela mentioning some other specialized techniques she does, so I contacted her to see if we could try something on my neck. Lo and behold, I left the session

Pamela is a superb massage therapist! She has extensive knowledge about the human body, which is evident in her thoughtful massage work. She was extremely thorough when asking about my health history and lifestyle. I've never experienced a massage with someone who cared so much about my well-being! I booked a Mayan Abdominal Massage with Pamela - highly recommend this service for anyone who wants abdominal work done! It also helped alleviate some of my severe low back pain. I think all of these positive reviews speak for themselves! You won't be disappointed!

I have visited Pamela twice for massages and both times they were exceptional. We travel quite frequently and have been to high end spas all over the world. That being said, without all of the frills these have been two of my BEST massages ever. Having recently moved to NYC - finding the right masseuse can be quite intimidating. But trust me... she has a way of making all of the tension disappear from your body and knows exactly what pressure and where to focus her efforts. I have never felt so relaxed and light. She is worth the trek out of my neighborhood and I cant wait to see her again soon

Best massage I have found in NYC over the past 9 years of trying out many different therapists at spas as well as privately run studios. Pamela has such a breadth of knowledge of various techniques which help my chronic pain issues so much more than any other standard massage. I have seen her 3 times so far - she is now my go to therapist. It's so easy to schedule online. I highly recommend her!

BEST MASSAGE I EVER HAD!

Seriously, you will not meet a more attentive, experienced, and considerate masseuse than Pamela. She knows her stuff. Your body will feel rejuvenated and tranquil after one of her massages.

Her knowledge of both Western & Eastern medicine makes her a go-to person for muscle pain to nutrition to reflexology to digestion to allergies. I've never had a question about health she didn't know the answer to or researched thoroughly to find the answer before my next appointment.

What makes Pamela truly wonderful is her ability to listen and spend time working

Pamela was great. She was very professional yet made me feel very comfortable in my skin. I had the Swedish massage, and she was very kind and asked me if I had any particular areas that I would like her to work on. She customized the massage just for me, and afterwards I felt AMAZING. The atmosphere was great, the aromas were fantastic, and I had my own private room. A really exquisite experience. I learned later after chatting that Pamela is very knowledgeable in many different areas, some that I haven't even heard of before! I am always weary of these hole-in-the wall, quick-in, quick-out

I had my first massage with Pamela last week and wow, I'm impressed. Like other reviewers I've had massages all over the world and definitely consider hers one of the best ever. She takes her time understanding my health issues and finds ways to work with them that are super-effective and long-lasting. Highly recommended.

I wish there was 6 stars. Pamela's massages are one of the top 3 things in NYC for me and my partner. If we could go weekly we would. Pamela knows her trade and is extremely passionate about massage and well being. I have been to so many spas around the world, so many massages, and no one compares to Pam. Each time I walk out I can't believe how much better I feel. Her studio is very private and I much prefer it to a full spa, it's very quiet and relaxing and it's always nice to take a walk around Soho after or before. I could write more and more and more, but I'll just

My nickname for Pamela is "Magic Hands Pam".

I booked a massage with her based on desperation (and location) a couple of years ago, and I have seen her dozens of time since then. I'd skip meals to afford to keep seeing her.

Whether it's day-to-day aches and pains, or my long term health issues flaring up, Pamela always knows what to do to help me feel better. Someone else on here called her a healer, and they are not kidding. Massage got me in the door, but I love all of the treatments, and I've sent both friends and family to her. It doesn't get any better than

I booked a Swedish massage with Pamela thru spafinder (my first time) and so happy I did. My options were an overpriced spa or cheap nail/massage joint and then I saw Pamela's listing and knew that this is what I deserved -- a licensed therapist who cared about individual clients. I was not disappointed. We talked in advance and she paid attention to what I needed. I also LOVED the space she uses, very peaceful and even quiet!

I booked an appointment here through Lifebooker in September, and will definitely be going back. Pamela was professional (texting me the day before with detailed directions) and tailored my massage to my specific needs, helping me relieve stress while targeting my muscle knots. I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep! Really recommend going here for a Swedish massage.

Pamela has saved me, over and over and over again.
She worked with me following a car accident and was able to completely erase my pain and improve my range of motion.
I relied on frequent prenatal massage with Pamela when I was pregnant, and she went above and beyond just making me feel good physically. She also was able to help me so much mentally. I would lie on her table and she would work tirelessly to encourage my body and mind to relax, heal and ready for labor.
Her bodywork is just incredibly intuitive and comprehensive. If you're looking to just relax, she does that with a gentle

I've had a lot of massage and i can truly say Pamela at Internally Happy has magic hands! She's a great listener to both you and your body and will pay close attention to your areas of greatest need. Her studio is pleasant, calming and immaculate, putting you at immediate ease. She is an independent proprietor so you can feel extra good supporting a small business! Please see Pamela for your next massage-you won't be disappointed. In fact, you'll feel great!

Pamela is not an ordinary masseuse, she is truly healer (and at times I think she has some kind of super power that allows her to magically identify any bodily aches and pains without you even mentioning!).

Since going to her for the first time via a lifebooker deal I have been addicted and try to go once a month (yes it is $$ but you really do get what you pay for). Since going regularly my back pains are almost non existant. The initial massage I booked simply for a "relaxing massage", I never suspected I would get such phenomenal health benefits from any massage.

I came here because of the name, philosophy behind it and high reviews (albeit few). Disappointed. I booked a 90 minute deep tissue in hopes of being healed/having knots eroded--or at least how i'd expect to feel after a $160 massage. Felt like a waste of $200 and that I should've gone to Great Jones Spa for the $ and experience.

[this review only regards the massage. i dont know about other services. the premises were beautiful: jade sink, relaxing, high ceilings, doorman bldg (though he was negligent at his post).]

I saw Pamela today for the first time and I couldn't be happier with my spur-of-the-moment decision to book an appointment earlier this week. Not only did she really take the time to talk to me and figure out my problem areas, she sincerely tried to work out each and every knot -- not a small feat, I assure you! I'll definitely be seeing her again.

Of course, the water, snack and mints at the end of the massage were a lovely touch!

The only "con" was that the room was a bit chilly -- but Pamela more than made up for it with extra blankets. Plus, I think today was one of the

Pamela is a healer.

That's not a word I throw around. I'm skeptical of most things in life. I find alternative medicine to be, for the most part, a big pile of "woo." I'm not spiritual, and scoff at religion. I think that if supplements were proved to work, general practitioners would prescribe them. I don't fall for water having memory, or good vibes being enough to cure cancer.

When I say that Pamela is a healer, I mean that she actively, truly wants her clients to be well. Healthy. Happy. So don't be shocked if, when you leave her lovely, understated oasis

I went to Pamela to learn about what I should eat, what is healthy, and basically to help change all the bad habits I have built up over my lifetime. I wanted to be able to loose weight and maintain that in a healthy manner. This was an eye opener for me. I learnt so much about different foods and how to integrate them in my life. Not only does Pamela concentrate on weight loss and nutritional education but also on emotional eating, other aspects like your goals in life and holistic healing of your mind, body and soul. She helped me look at other aspects in my life and showed me how I can
