Such a vastly different experience: a lawyer who told me the truth. A lawyer who told me what my other lawyer had done. A lawyer who pointed out the flaws in the oppositions case. I am in utter shock.
I shudder to think if I hadn't decided to retain her. My whole world, my children are at stake and my other lawyer was pushing me into termination of parental rights without telling me. Signing for me and not showing me.
For what purpose? I don't know. And she showed me; showed me what he had done and would not admit to doing.

Emy is a very direct and intense personality. She does not sugar coat, and can be abrasive at times. Underneath these personality traits is a genuine heart and desire to get the best possible results for her clients. Without question we would use Emy for a custody case again. She has the rare attribute of having enough humility to admit her faults and move past conflict to create a successful team effort. I must have met her on a bad day, I’m shocked by all the amazing reviews. I agree more with the 1-star reviews. She was very unprofessional and overstepping her boundaries. Left me feeling verbally harassed. Did not seem open at all the hearing what I had to say. I think she must have been fulfilling a personal favor to come to me and tell me I wasn’t doing my job, which was news to me. Her stepping in actually made the entire situation much harder and took much longer to get resolved.

From start to finish I am very pleased with Ms. Cordano’s representation. She was prompt, thorough, and professional. I was very anxious as this was my first foray into the world of divorce litigation, but she patiently ushered me in with compassion and consideration. I was very impressed with the level of integrity and dedication of Attorney Cordano. My custody dispute was cause for great concern but Emy took the time to patiently explain my options. It can be quite intimidating facing such issues when so much is on the line. She reassured me regarding the strengths of my case and then articulately presented it to the court. There are so many positive things that I can say about Emy. I love that she is honest and has so much integrity. I can only review the office staff since I never actually got to speak to the attorney. I made an appointment for a consultation. I called in at the scheduled time only to be told the attorney is in court. Disappointed that a call was not made to reschedule since I rearranged my work schedule to make the consultation. Made another appointment for the following day. I was told someone would call me back to confirm in a few hours. Unfortunately that call never happened either. I can't see trusting someone who doesn't value my time with a huge life changing event. Will not be calling back

Emy is a very capable and somewhat intense lawer who will fight for the outcome you are looking for. Here intensity may be off putting to some, but if you need a lawyer do you really want domeone who is complacent or laid back to fight for you? She is very good at making sure that you understand what you are agreeing to so you do not agree to something that you regret later. If she is convinced that you understand and you want to go forward she will back you up all the way, even if she does not think it is the best decision..
