As a queer-identified and spiritually-identified woman in an interracial, same-sex marriage, I integrate many layers. I work with clients that have complex experiences. Many communities honor one part of our identity while ignoring the other.

In my practice, I actively include all your layers: LGBTQ+, GNC/Enby, race, ethnicity, Autistic/ Aspergers/ Neurodivergence, spirituality, and all other experiences existing outside the white supremacist hetero-patriarchy.Diverse people need to be able to tell their stories. Therapy is a reprieve from the pressures of a cruel world and all its senseless bullying.

The survivors and families of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting reported this method to be the most effective trauma treatment, surpassing traditional talk therapies as well as EMDR interventions.
Queer people face unique challenges. We might have more rights, representation, allies, and safe spaces than ever before, but there are still unique challenges we face daily. As a queer-identified, spiritual woman in an interracial same-sex marriage, I integrate many layers. I invite all pieces of your identity into the room and make space for the complexity of your lived experience.
If you are seeking a detailed report for processing or sensory needs, you should seek out a neuropsychologist.* I celebrate neurodiversity and I want people who may be self-diagnosed or denied diagnosis to get the professional assessments and answers they need. Sessions include some thoughtful and gentle conversations relevant to your neurology and a collaborative investigation to help you determine your next steps.
Processing past traumas on our own can be painful and difficult for our mind, body, and heart. It affects every system in our body. With this in mind, I approach trauma from an informed, client-centered perspective. I attune to my client's social-emotional experience and weave in the latest treatments in neuropsychology.
Living with chronic pain, fatigue, or Fibromyalgia can feel so isolating in an ableist society. If you live with these conditions, you probably feel misunderstood by friends, family, employers, and doctors. The science shows that these chronic pain and fatigue conditions often stem from childhood trauma or other significant events.

Kathryn Sills-Payne is a truly wonderful therapist. She has wealth of insight and expertise into the demands faced by individuals and families affected autism and Asperger’s. I met Kathryn in a professional context working with children with learning differences, and consider her one of the absolute best in the therapy field. I have witnessed the tremendous impact she has made in helping our shared clients develop meaningful relationships and alleviate autism-related anxiety. Kathryn targets life skills and areas of executive functioning that can be more challenging for children and adults on
