The stairs to this classic Portland house had rotten treads, risers, and handrails. We replaced all rotten wood, replaced treads and risers with 5/4 CVG fir, and made new handrails out of Western Red Cedar. We then painted steps and coated the handrails with marine varnish to protect from the weather.

We recently bought a house and suspected the decks were not strong enough. Justin first went out and secured them with bolts and then a few weeks later we hired him to come back and replace all the rotten and spongy wood. Justin did a great, thorough and quality job. You can tell he wants to do the best job for you and you can see that he does quality work. Perhaps even just as important, Justin came when he said he would and worked until the job was complete. I've been dealing with a lot of contractors lately and that is worth a lot!
