Oscar and Danny are great! They did an engine emplacement for me and not only was it finished when they said it would be, but it cost exactly what they said it would be (no surprises!). It?s easy to see why they are a busy shop: quality work, honest and professional service. My car died and I gad it towed to Sharps.

I'm so bummed...Sharp's was so great with my husband and his car! So, when I needed a mechanic I called Sharp's. I really feel RIPPED OFF.
I needed my brakes done. I took it to Sharps and the gentleman looked at all four of my brake pads and luckily told me he thought I only needed the front pads done.
He quoted me $240, he said I shouldn't need rotors but he would let me know. When I showed up to pick up my car he charged me $380.
He never called to get the work approved, he never called to even tell me I needed additional work. If I wanted to leave with my car I was

Danny and Oscar are extremely knowledgeable and efficient in their work. They perform the necessary repairs in a reasonable time frame, usually same day, unless it's an obvious multi-day process or they encounter an unforeseen snag. They've been servicing my vehicles for several years. And their pricing is reasonable. One more thing, my helmet's off to them and their team. GO Cowboys!

I was a customer of Sharp's Auto Service when Jim Sharp owned the shop. I am still a customer now that Oscar and Danny own the shop - they do a great job - Jim was great but Oscar and Danny are too...they are honest, knowledgeable, straight forward...I highly recommend Sharp's Auto Service in Port Hueneme - nice guys that know what they are doing.

I refer alot of my customers to go to sharps to have repairs and diagnosis done which I am not allowed to do at my shop. I have not had any customers return with anything but good news and thank yous. Danny and Oscar are very nice and honest guys. They do get busy and appointments work best.

Customer service is amazing! Took my 73 because it was acting up....Took him 5 minutes to fix the issue now she runs like a dream! Will definitely bring her back in the future if any other issues come up ...Great local place for classic cars! Next time you're looking for a shop check them out...before you go to your tios cousins friend!

I've been to many mechanics and have seen some good ones and some bad ones as far as service and honesty. Sharp's automotive was recommended to me by several friends and after a few visits, several conversations, and seeing how they are constantly busy, Sharp's is by far the best place that I have been to and I'll keep driving out from Ventura to see these guys. I am giving 2 stars because these guys messed up my car even more. I wanted to add this review a while ago, but after leaving their shop, I had issues I didn't have before. I brought in my Japanese vehicle because of internal engine issues caused by the water pump. They took the rear bank head apart and uncovered bent valves and scarred camshaft. Great, they found an issue that needed to be fixed. I bought the parts and had them installed; water pump and belt, valves and camshaft. They drove it and said it is running great, except that it is throwing codes and misfiring in the rear bank of cylinders

GREAT customer service. I just moved to town, and my check engine light came on. I had just paid $1000 for a dealership in another city to do the 100,000 mile maintenance, so nothing should have been broken. The dealership said they'd only look at the car for $140 non-refundable payment. A friend recommended this place.
Despite working on another car, the mechanic stopped what he was doing and hooked the diagnosis computer to my car. 5 minutes later, I was good to go. He didn't even want to charge me, so I insisted on giving

We met Danny the owner years ago at a dealership and followed him to Sharp's in Oxnard. The trip from the Santa Ynez Valley is well worth it as we have total respect and trust in Danny who services all five of our Lexus vehicles. I took my '92 Honda civic here after it completely konked out on me and the guys here found out quickly that it was my cars "computer" that had burnt up!
Since they don't make that part anymore they were able to find a used one that fit my cars exact number somewhere in the midwest and had it shipped. I was very impressed with their prices, honesty, quality and also quickness! Thanks again you guys for saving my old beat up car!

Honesty is the best policy ; brought in my parents Toyota Camry ; after taking it to dealership . Very pleased with the outcome at Sharp's.
Background :Received a warranty enhancement notice from Toyota advising owners of concerns of excessive engine oil consumption directing owners to take in vehicle for a test ... I took the Camry to Toyota of Oxnard for the test and they advised they were unable to extend the manufacture recommended test a covered service due to what Toyota discovered during their inspection , an oil leak ;it requires repairs before they could extend the test .
