My husband and 2 kids were excited to try this restaurant and eat authentic Mexican food. Once we arrived we noticed the place was pretty much empty, there was a group of 3 guys sitting at a table. The place was dirty, but we decided to still give it a chance and hopeful the food would be worth it. The waitress walked over and took our drink order, which we received fairly quickly. We took a few min to look over the menu and were ready to order. I was in the Dells during the peak of the busy season (first week of August). Most restaurants at this time are slammed and can't seem to handle the influx of customers. Not the case with Kimberly Mexican Restaurant. I ordered a very large take out order and even though they had a completely full dinning room area my order came out promptly and correct. The food itself was delicious, authentic Mexican food that really hit the spot. Everyone loved their order and we will be returning on our next Dells visit. Highly recommended.

I've heard very good things about this restaurant so I decided to go with my family. We have a 1,3, and 5 Year old. We come in excited and hungry. While waiting to have our order taken I noticed that groups that came in after us were getting their order taken first. I counted 5 groups that came in after us got to order first. We waited 15 min to order. We didn't let this phase us because we knew our delicious food would be arriving soon. The groups of people who ordered first got their food first. We were excited for some good authentic Mexican food, but this place was a big let down. The restaurant is dirty, the food is terrible, the rice was not even cooked all the way, and the bathrooms were so disgusting I thought I was gonna puke 🤢
I instantly thought if they keep the store, the restaurant and the bathrooms that nasty and dirty how could the kitchen possibly look??
We didn’t even finish our food!!
Even the parking lot is full of trash everywhere.
So if you’re looking for a good clean restaurant, this is definitely not the place to go!!

Solid, authentic tacos here. The rice and beans were just alright. It may be the only game in town when it comes to legit Mexican food, though. I went alone during a downpour so service was quick. The store attached to the restaurant was cute and had a good variety of Hispanic options - nothing fancy.

I was hesitant to try Mexican food at the Dells but to my surprise it was delicious! We order there but it was a to go order. Waited a while so next time I would probably call in my order. My husband who is Mexican loved their gordiatas. He wanted to order more the next day! The staff was also very helpful with all my requests. Just a great place all around. Don't doubt this place just because the store is connected. Those usually are the best authentic place.
