Services
The juncture of Moose Jaw & Thunder Creek was the best place to cross the river valley & there was an abundant water supply for steam locomotives. Moose Jaw's business centre consisted of 6 stores, 5 saloons, 1 drugstore, 2 blacksmiths, 3 hotels & 40 houses. Early 1900's- The tunnels underneath the city were finished, being built for maintenance of the heating systems under the buildings in the downtown area.
We offer 12 microbrews on tap at all times, plus an assortment of our bottled/canned brews. Check below for icons that show you if it's available on tap or in a bottle or can. Beers on tap can always be purchased in a 1/2 gallon growler to-go. Ask your server or bartender to help with your selections.
Brewmaster, Jamie Baertsch, holds the title as "First Female Brewmaster in Wisconsin". She is a proud member of the Pink Boots Society, an organization of women that play key roles in the brewing industry & has been a featured speaker at the Craft Brewers Conference. When not creating new & exiting brews, you can find her at home on her 124 acre hobby farm with her husband & 2 children.
If you are visiting during a summer evening with a group of 20 or more. We do not take reservations or have private rooms available during the summer evening hours as we use the rooms to seat our regular customers. But, we are more than happy to accommodate large groups here at Moosejaw! Just let the host know how large your party is once you have arrived, they will assist in getting your group sat & taken care of as quickly as possible.

We had a larger group dinner here and the wait staff was great with the families. We enjoyed our pizza and they make their own pop upstairs. Cool restaurant! The nachos tasted burnt and the group didn’t finish them off. The other meals were good though.

Our server Evan was having trouble doing his job. I got the wrong order, which should be the servers job to punch it in, not the kitchen’s mistake. He kept saying « no rush » but brought the check when we were only halfway through eating. When he came back to take it (still not done eating) he felt the need to remind us that we pay at the table instead of upfront. The pie was too sweet, but the fries are some of the best I’ve had.

Just visited for the first time with my family on our Dells trip after our initial plans of visiting The Grateful Shed soured. Moosejaw is awesome! I love the atmosphere. Very family friendly, food was great. A bit pricey, but I haven’t found anywhere in the Dells that isn’t. My daughter got the orange soda and said it had a strange aftertaste, but I offered to get her drink switched out and she still wanted to keep it, so I guess it wasn’t too bad. Our server was very attentive, and we had a great time! Would definitely visit again on our next trip!

This place....let me tell you something. If you have never been....then you haven't lived because this place is spectacular. Veterans...DO NOT FORGET TO ASK FOR YOUR DISCOUNT! I am a Veteran myself and I really only choose places that support our service. This place does and the food will not disappoint you one bit. I heard around town to try the pizza....well I did and it was delicious. Beer....yum! Try the IMPERIAL VANILLA CREME Beer....9.6% I believe and it was great and one reason why I know that is because we had someone with us that was strict about her beer choices, but she ordered what

I would have to say I was less than impressed. Our beer came after the food came. It took a while for our food to come out and it wasn't busy. I ordered a ceaser salad with chicken and the chicken looked disgusting. I ordered chicken for my son and the two looked so different! Picture to compare the two. I would recommend not visiting.

I wasn’t surprised by the level of customer service. The waitress wasn’t prompt and the food took way too long to cook. We ordered simple meals and we waited over an hour for food. The bartenders downstairs were nice and served drinks with a pleasant attitude. Loved the downstairs area but other than that it was less than a positive experience.

This place was hands down awesome. The staff was extremely kind and while you wait you can go down stairs to arcade and play games has elevator so is wheelchair accessible. The food was soooo good and the cool verity of sodas was so tasty. Also had one of the cleanest bathrooms I have ever been in at a big restaurant like this smelled like peaches lol!
