Dr. Michael Holmes has been setting the highest standard of excellence in pediatric dentistry since 2000. He earned his undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta and his dental degree from Northwestern University in Chicago before completing his specialized residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

(Savings Plan for Orthodontic Treatment) allows parents to put money away on a monthly basis toward their child's future orthodontic treatment.
Ready to schedule your visit? We invite you to get started online! Our team wants it to be both easy and convenient to find a time that works for you. Typically, we schedule appointments for our younger guests earlier in the day and older children in the afternoon. This works best to give us extra one-on-one time with our younger guests and work around school hours for our older guests.
At Children & Teen Dental, we are pleased to offer Teledentistry for the safety of our guests and our team. Teledentistry can save you time and offer convenient care when needed. If you are interested in Teledentistry, our team is more than happy to help! Give your child or teen the dental attention that they need in times when you are not able to see your child's dentist in-person.

Let me tell you.. the doctors here are awesome with children. They treated my 3 year old like their own child and made what can he a scary and stressful experience pleasant. And the staff that sets appointments and takes care if the insurance are super professional and all are so nice! Definitely recommend these awesome people.

I have had two issues with the Mcfarland office. When I initially called to make my daughters appointment, I was told this office didnt take her insurance but her doctor had you guys on the list. I did have a nice lady call me back and apologize for the confusion and scheduled the appointment. Her follow up appointment was scheduled in Feb for Aug,… I called and confirmed as instructed and got several messages reminding me of her appointment. Today I get a call letting me know on Monday, that her app for Wednesday has to be rescheduled for 8/31. I have scheduled before in my career but this

We visited the location on Rice Mine Road yesterday for the first time and they have some of the most compassionate, patient, and understanding staff to provide care for your children! The kids and I both felt very comfortable and at home here! We were 30 minutes late to our first appointment due to weather and not once did the staff hold it… against me or seem bothered by it. They still managed to work both kids in quickly and they also made special arrangements for my daughter to have a tooth pulled the same day as well! I have been going to Children and Teen Dental since my child was 2 she is now 11; usually the service and staff is so friendly but today not so much. My daughter missed a few appointments due to my work schedule and personal reasons so when she is seated the assistant LAURIE makes it her business to tell EVERYONE that she hasn’t been there in a while!! Why?? I have no idea! She was very rude to other staff today I mean the environment was not what I usually see from them...I’m really considering changing offices.
