Keep pressure on the extraction site with the cotton gauze provided to you with written post operative instructions for 1-3 hours to help control the bleeding. Change as cotton gauze becomes saturated by folding 2 or 3 times and placing over extraction site and close to keep pressure on site. You have just had either a permanent crown or bridge cemented onto your natural tooth/teeth.

Infrequently, sensitivity can last longer than six weeks, please notify our office for further evaluation.

I am so happy I was referred to Dr. Kates! I am an absolute baby when it comes to going to the dentist! Dr. Kates and his wonderful staff made my visit for a replacement filling comfortable and pain free! Had to have thousands of dollars worth of dental work. Am so grateful that I chose Dr. Darshan Panchal for the job: He is an excellent Dentist. He was patient with my many questions, he made the process as comfortable as possible, and the end result is perfect. I pay out-of-pocket, so my expectations are high, and Dr. Panchal met them. This review is for Dr. Penchal who works alongside Dr. Kates and who I saw as my Dentist. I wanted to express that I appreciate Dr. Penchal's passion and consideration when calling me to assure I was fine after receiving two crowns on the same day on the same side of my mouth. We may have had our differences and not seen eye to eye in some areas but he was always straight-forward, honest and transparent. The procedure he and his team performed was difficult and they did it was care and patience. Thank you to Dr. Penchal and his team.

I only had 3 cavities ever and each time with 2 other dentists one from NJ and another one from Florida -drilling was torture. Novocaine shots didn't seem to work for me and I was told all 3 of those cavities were "small" and I shouldn't feel anything. One dentist kept giving me shots until my whole face and neck were numb but I kept feeling the pain. Most people I tell this too think I was being a huge baby -but I think I have more sensitive teeth when it comes to drilling? I literally was online researching if there was something wrong with me that Novocaine shots don

Dr. Kates is by far the best dentist I have ever received care from. His office staff are all very friendly and professional, they offer early evening appointments for people that work a 9-5, and in my experience, I never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. He was always very upfront about treatment options, in terms of cost and other details. I always felt that he was invested in my dental health, and doing whatever was best for me as a patient.

We are wanting to get our dental records because we wanted to switch dentists since Kate's misquoted a procedure and it was going to cost way more than he initially promised. Better stay away from this dentist. His pricing is suspect and now that we want a copy of our dental records and Kate's charges $ for doing that.
