You may find yourself in a place where you are considering "talking to someone" for the first time, and please know that I do not take your decision lightly. You have taken a courageous step, and it's my upmost priority for you to feel supported, safe, and heard in an accepting, nonjudgmental environment.
At this time, all sessions will be telehealth as we continue to practice social distancing. I am out of network with insurance companies. Please check directly with your insurance carrier to learn about out-of-network benefits specific to your plan. I provide you with a monthly "superbill, " which you can then submit to your insurance company for reimbursement according to your benefits.
The experience of grief and grieving takes as long as it takes. I wish I could point to a calendar and show you the exact day and time when your hurting will end. The process is different for everyone, and you will always carry your grief; its intensity, its weight, its rawness all evolve over time.
