Bodhi stems from the Sanskrit root "budh" meaning to awaken, to become aware of, to notice, or to understand. In Buddhist practice, the path to freedom is one of awakening from unconscious or illusionary beliefs to discover TRUTH. This path is referred to as the divine awakening, which results in the deepest understanding of life and consciousness or "BODHI.".
