Imagine what your mouth would feel like if you never brushed your teeth or went to the dentist. For many dogs and cats, this is a painful reality. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, more than 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have dental disease by the age of 3. Dental (or periodontal) disease is the most frequently diagnosed health problem in pets.
Spaying your pet has many benefits. The procedure, which prevents female animals from becoming pregnant and reproducing, can help your dog or cat live a longer, healthier life. Spaying will not change your pet's personality. By spaying your female pet, you're protecting her against potentially deadly diseases, including bacterial infections, reproductive tract diseases, and several types of cancer.
Fleas can cause problems for pets ranging from minor to life-threatening. Not only can these parasites cause severe itching, irritation, and allergies, but they can also transmit tapeworms and diseases. Fleas can infest dogs, cats, ferrets, mice, and rats. And fleas don't just stay on pets; they can bite people, too.

I usually see Dr Mims who is super nice and a great vet. Dr Mims wasn't there the day I had to bring my dog in. So Dr Hernandez put down my 10y/o dog, Homer. It was so heart breaking to have to put down a loving member of my family. Dr Hernandez talked us through in detail every single thing. He was so kind. It was a horrible thing to have to do. Dr Hernandez was visibly upset because he had to do this. He genuinely loves animals. Dr Hernandez was so amazing I sent him a card thanking him for his kindness.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hernandez! He takes the time to really explain and make sure you understand what’s going on with your pets. I definitely feel at ease knowing that we have such a truly caring veterinarian to take care of our fur babies!

I strongly urge pet owners to reconsider taking their beloved pets to this veterinary hospital, especially in an emergency situation.
My 70 yer old mother took her Yorkie to see Dr. Hernandez. My mom's dog had not eaten in two days. After examining the dog, Dr. Hernandez concluded the dog was fine. He felt she had a mild infection of some sort and sent her home with a B12 shot and some antibiotics. This was around 11:00am.
The next morning, the dog was not doing any better and seemed worse. My mom called the vet as soon as they opened to ask if she could bring the dog back in. Unfortunately,

Dr. Hernandez is simply amazing.... Contrary to the negative reviews... He cares deeply about every animal that enters his clinic. My cat was bitten by something, knocking on death's door and he treated him and saved his life. He treated both my dogs for the annual visits, with care and concern. It wasn't a few months later that my lab was refusing food and couldn't walk in her only right leg due to major inflammation.
On Memorial Day, Dr.Hernandez was communicating with me and told me to get her in the clinic first thing the next morning. I did and she ended up staying overnight and the next
