What sets our prints apart from lower-priced bargain machine printers? Our skilled technician looks at each frame and adjusts accordingly to make your photos look the best they can. Get professional quality inkjet / giclee prints of your digital images. We offer prints up to 50x75 on six surfaces including fine art papers, poster paper, transparencies, and canvas.
We process color negative film using a professional "dip and dunk" processor where nothing touches your film but chemistry, filtered water, and air. This process takes slightly longer than conventional "mini lab" processing, but the results are worth it! We can process everything from APS to 35mm, 120, 220, 4x5, and 8x10 sized color negatives plus disposable camera film.
Treasured prints and slides are professionally scanned and converted to quality digital files that are easily stored, shared, and printed. Negatives are preserved frame-by-frame, resulting in digital files that are ready to store or print. Digitally restore damaged or faded photos to their original condition.

This place is exceptional at what they do. I have been getting my film developed here for over a year and the prices are great and they always return my images within a week and a half. However, there is one older gentleman that works here that without fail makes me extremely uncomfortable everytime I come. He always urges me to take my mask off (which I am especially not comfortable with) and will sometimes make weird comments. It's really such a shame because it is such a nice establishment but I can't help but feel extremely anxious going for fear he will be working.

Holland photo is truly a wonderfully run locally owed business. Staff is very knowledgeable and professional. These folks have been around for a long time and will treat you right. Only complaint is their new location parking lot has a curb that’s very very large and is difficult to see when exiting and it will destroy your vehicle if it’s low to ground. Don’t worry if you have a Tesla it’s will be just fine!

I have been using this lab for over 10 years. I am a professional photographer, with work in galleries, museums and National Geographic. After moving away from Austin 5 years ago I tested various labs around where I lived and finally concluded I was sent with my film being sent back to Holland all my film processing and scanning and the printing I didn't want to do at home. Quality is of the upmost importance to me and I know that I will receive this highest quality form them. They also have great costumer service and alway support my needs.

I was uncomfortable and sweating awkwardly and felt the need to run away, like a commitment you already wanted out of! The employee cursed the entire time he had to resize my image and sighed when I wanted to make changes? Worst customer service I've received in person in a long time! Never saw the work but very expensive.

This place is a great business that has grown exponentially over the years. The staff is ultra knowledgable about film or prints questions you might have. Personal faves are Jamie, Morgan or Brian but trust anyone up there. Great place for getting high quality photo / art prints too. Might take a day or two but well worth the wait.

HIGHLY recommend Holland Photo. Try them if you haven't yet! They are experts in processing and printing any film you can send them. They've been incredibly helpful, courteous and responsive. I've been using them for more than a year. They always do an excellent and professional job of developing, printing and scanning my film, have worked with me on orders where I had questions and overall have provided consistent, friendly service and given me a QUALITY product every time! I cannot recommend this place enough! They were quick to respond to my questions and were more than helpful. They went above and beyond. Every person, through email and in the store, was helpful and welcoming. The work was done in a timely manner. The pictures and prints on wood came out better than I imagined. I got amazing prints, and felt valued as a customer. Exactly what you want from a local business.

The staff is super knowledgeable and kind, always exhibiting patience with all of my photography questions. To my knowledge, they are one of the only shops processing film in-house anywhere around the area. They also have a wide array of film stocks at great prices.
They also offer a discount to students, making photography a more affordable hobby for those looking to give it a try. This place inspired me to find my dad's old Contax T2 and shoot film regularly! Stop by and have a conversation with the kind staff!

The best of the best! I'll say, during quarantine the people that are still working have not been the most pleasant, but that sure wasn't the case here! Devastatingly, my mother-in-law passed away (not covid related) and we needed to get all of her old home photos scanned and put into a slide show for her funeral. The wait/turn around time for scanning pictures at Holland Photo Imaging was about 2 weeks so when I mentioned that wouldn't work because the funeral was in a few days they made my order a priority and got them back to me the next day! They even organized the photos in

Great place to get things developed especially if you want a quality print.
If you aren't a pro, just know that you have to specify if you want the film developed. First time I went I didn't know and when I showed up to pick up my film it was just negatives. Which I now realize is great because you can then have only what you want developed from them instead of paying for photos that didn't turn out.
Would recommend!

Worked directly with Brian for a large canvas print for my workplace - couldn't be more pleased. With a slight time crunch, and the abnormally large size I needed the canvas I was running out of options.
Response time was quick and courteous, and the canvas is beautiful. Looking forward to working with them again!

The 5-6 photos weren't torn and were are in pretty good shape. I just wanted some highlighting on the faces and one photo I wanted the face fuzziness cleared up. The scanning is required for this, but I feel what I brought the photos in for did not occur. I could not give the photos as gifts as a result.

Figure I would write an update, since I've been updating all my reviews. It's nearly true, since my last review I've almost never set foot in Holland. I've been in twice since then, both times to buy film because I was in south Austin and Holland was closest.
I honestly feel bad for the shop. The film selection continues to dwindle and they're offering the film photographer less and less reason to come in and spend money. I'm sure they're making up for it in other ways (I hope they are anyway), but it is damned depressing to see this happen to a shop that used

Like another reviewer from May, I was also in town briefly as I was on a road trip and had some film I wanted to get developed. So I dropped off 4 rolls of Tri-X film and 2 disposable cameras, as well as my boyfriend's film that he wanted developed. I informed the girl at the front who was very nice that we would be leaving soon and she said she'd make a note of it but that I should expect for it to be ready after the weekend (so 4-5 days). That seemed fine to me.
The next morning I got a phone call informing me that my film was ready. I was shocked as it had been less than 24 hours

Kate has impressive customer service, it was my first time calling the company and ordering a print. she was able to tell me great information about each paper quality and was able to up-sale me over the phone. I recommend this business for photo printing needs.
update: called to make another order of print images, spoke to alexa over the phone and her customer service over the phone was superb. she was able to provide me with extensive knowledgable bout paper quality, and print cost. very calming voice, easy to speak with; made ordering over the phone so much more relaxing.

I used to frequent Holland Labs when they were situated on MLK at the end of Guadalupe and I was a starving young photography student. They were one of the two recommended labs in town for developing photos.
So when I needed some slides converted to JPEG files in a hurry, I wasn't surprised when their name came up. I was a little bummed that I had to drive all the way to S. Lamar to find them, but such is the way of rising rents in Austin.
They're now in a tiny space halfway down the row in a strip-mall that looks rather industrial, but they're worth the hunt if you need quality
