Stopped in today for lunch with my colleague - the food was fantastic! Great selection of dishes. I ordered an omelet and it was definitely one of the best ones I've ever had! If you're a UMich student (or if you're visiting the campus) this is a great place to stop for a bite to eat. I'll definitely be back!

The food was fine. They did leave off the sides with each of our entrees though. The woman working at the hostess stand (I'm assuming the owner) was one of the rudest people I have ever met. Essentially accused us of lying about what one of her staff had told us over the phone rather than admit that her staff had made a mistake in the information provided. There are enough decent breakfast/brunch places in Ann Arbor that I will be choosing any other one over aMa in the future.

We put our name down at 11:14am. Said it would be a hour wait possibly 1 1/2 hours. Was waiting outside besides it was very busy inside with people closely together not masked. When we went in to check reservation status at 12:20 was told we just missed our table and we couldn't have the next one. I understand it was busy but her attitude was beyond rude and unnecessary. There were many groups of people waiting outside to be seated. No one ever went outside to call our name.

Amazing food, and amazing service. We were seated fast, was able to take our time in choosing our food without being bothered per se, and when the food arrived it looked really good and tasted just as good! Wasn't too expensive, 13.50 for the Ferghessa and 12.50 for the Greek Skillet. Amazing! Would definitely go again

In general, there was no part of my experience at Ama that went well. I have no problem waiting for a while, and we were told that our group of 9 would be waiting for a half hour at the most. No problem! Then 45 minutes pass. I let the hostess know they said it would be no more than 30 min and it’s been almost an hour. She laughed and said “it hasn’t been an hour.” She goes on to say that there’s no guarantee about wait times, and their large group is finishing up. I work at a restaurant, so I understand being busy, but that’s never an excuse to mislead and be rude to customers, especially

This is a terrible experience. The first time we went here the food was wonderful and so was the service. We came today and it was awful all the way around.
On the menu they have dishes that say yogurt and some that specify Greek yogurt. I ordered something that says yogurt and it ended being Greek yogurt, which I cannot eat. This isn't a big deal, I sent it back and ordered a BROWN rice bowl. It was not brown rice. It wasn't even good white rice. There was supposed to be vegetables in it, there were two pieces of broccoli.
My child ordered crepes, there was nothing in them. Crepes always have

A tiny whole in the wall of a restaurant, but I enjoyed it greatly. The aesthetics of the place was wonderful. I go to school in Detroit and decided to go on a friend date with for breakfast. We had a blast! The food was delicious and the iced Mocha was just okay but I'd still try their other iced coffee drinks.
I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a good place to eat that's cute and the food is good.

We ordered the cinnamon french toast and full stack of pancakes, along with two coffees. The food is extremely bland like all the other reviews say, and definitely overpriced. We didn’t like how the pancakes were cooked, taste really flavorless and look burnt. French toast was ok but not worth $9. We ate the food since we paid for it, but it wasn’t enjoyable. The coffee is something I could get at my local public library, but the difference is that it costs $1 there and $5 here.

Crepe was okay, soft and yummy.
Stuffed french toast was too dry, I hope they use better bread to make french toast. French toast should be more heavy not dry and hard to chew.
I paid $4 extra for Nutella and to be honest I expect like a lot for $4 but it was too small for the price.
Also, there's no server to come take your order, you have to order food online and they already charged for tip (18-20% I think), we didn't know so we paid extra. I just have to be honest, we're on budget .

Stopped here for lunch while visiting the university. My daughter had poached eggs and fruit, my wife had pumpkin nut bread bread french toast and I had one of the best gyros ever! In fact, everyone was very happy with their meal and service was excellent! We did eat inside but didn't stress as the owners have done a nice job keeping customers safe.

The environment is nice and they took precautions for COVID-19 but I have to say I was a bit disappointed in my food. I got a simple burger and fries and my fries were stale and my burger didn't taste right. The meat tasted wrong and I'm not sure how a burger can taste wrong but it did. The service was decent overall I wouldn't recommend :(

I ordered delivery from here for the first time.
The steak and egg breakfast was extremely sub par. The hashbrowns were extremely mushy and dry. The steak and eggs were equally dry and had little flavour. The roasted tomatoe, goat cheese, avacado toast was very soggy. The tomatoes were raw and definitely not roasted.
On the other hand, the sweet potatoe chipotle fries were great! The chicken sandwich and the creamy lemon chicken soup that came with it were delicious. It had great flavor, perfect amount of dressing. The soup was SO GOOD that it made up for all the subpar breakfast food and hence

Tight 45' connect flight at DTW on a stormy Eastern Seaboard day results in a missed connection and a chance to surprise my freshman daughter at Ann Arbor with a surprise lunch visit.
Came in right after the late breakfast crowd and early lunch rush.
Not sure why all the low reviews, good service from a well informed courteous young student/waiter.
Daughter had a western omelet with fruit and toast and I decided to try something different the Albania V Bhurani, sounded exotic and a cappuccino.
Cappuccino was MEH 3 stars and a tad cold but a healthy serving, college student portions

This is my go to brunch spot in Ann Arbor! It has delicious food and a very aesthetic interior. Parking is a little hard to find because there is not a lot of street parking but there is some street parking and a relatively close parking structure. Service can be kind of slow but it's usually because it's very busy! My favorite thing to get usually is the breakfast burrito which is delicious.
Recently I went for lunch and got the turkey and pesto panini and my dad ordered the chicken Alfredo and it further affirmed to me that there is no bad item to order here! The portions are really

The food here is always good. I have tried a number of different omelettes and I enjoy them all. The wait staff is hit or miss. Sometimes they are friendly and on top of things. Other times you get someone with no emotion and lack of service. Overall, I recommend coming here. They also have great coffee and espresso beverages.

The food here was soo good. I came for brunch because I heard it was a great go to spot for it. I also always notice that it's busy so I wanted to give it a try.
I decided to order the authentic dish called the egg Bhurani. It was heavy and tasted really clean, fresh, and tasty. Also had some French toast with pecans. That also was very delightful.
It's a family ran Albanian restaurant that will not disappoint.
Service was nice. Food was quick to come out. Decor was good. Portions are generous. And prices are fair. A well deserved 4 stars.

Place:
This place is walkable distance for those college students that want breakfast food or those that go to morning prayer and get hungry. THIS IS THE SPOT lol
Service:
The service has been consistently amazing and I love the waitress that always serves us.
Food/price:
The food is amazing and the amount we get is crazy. I always need a box when I eat. So worth! Most people get the breakfast bundle option but I forgot what it is called in the menu...
Audience:
I always go with friends and I can see myself bringing people new to Ann Arbor. It is a cheaper breakfast option in my opinion.

I stumbled upon this place on Thanksgiving Day in a search for somewhere open for lunch. For a holiday, it was very busy, but we got a table right away!
First impressions: the decor is very trendy and cute, and the servers/host are friendly enough. It was sort of downhill from there, though.
My brother ordered a coffee, which comes in a very hipster-cute clear mug. He said it was decent. I asked for more water when we ordered our food, and didn't get it until 30 minutes later when our food came out. I don't mind waiting that long for food, especially on a holiday, but I was parched

Typical diner in downtown Ann Arbor. I can tell they get their traffic from students, because it was pretty dead when we went now that students are gone for the summer. We were seated immediately for lunch and it was pretty dead in there - maybe 2 other parties. Our server was sweet and answered questions about the menu for us, but there were some things on the menu for certain items that are worded in a confusing way.
I ordered the spinach & feta omelette, but with egg whites and it was pretty good. Nothing super earth shattering or memorable about it. It came with fruit, which was fresh

This is a casual, basic dining place that is probably better for breakfast and lunch. We had a good breakfast here. I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict and my husband had the pancakes with blueberries. The portions were very large and the prices were reasonable. Our waiter was friendly. The food was a bit slow to arrive, but we did show up soon after they opened.
They have a few Albanian items on the menu that would be interesting to try.
