Falafels are the best I've had.
Rice is okay not bad.
Garlic sauce only seemed to come in this enormous container for $8. I don't know what I'll do with some much garlic sauce. Also it was too lemony. Would not order again. I think Casablanca has better garlic sauce I remember thinking it's amazing
Tabouli was way too lemony. Would not order again.
Grape leaves were not vegetarian so I could not eat them. My friend did not seem to like them. Would not order again.
Pita was ok, not good not bad. I think it came with the garlic sauce since usually I haven't gotten it

Note: this is a review for accessibility, not food!
We were so excited to try middle eastern food on this trip, as we've heard such great things. We checked Yelp and the website and ordered a meal for pickup (since they didn't deliver to our hotel 7 miles away). Order sent, we ventured out because of the great reviews, despite having wanted to stay in. When we arrived everything was dark and the store was closed. Im sure with the pandemic, hours hav shifted. But then you need to have some indication - somewhere - that you aren't open at certain times. At minimum, do not accept online

I was in this place years ago, but I'm not sure if it was the same business then. This was an incredible trip!
Quick story. My company gave me the day off today, so on a whim I checked and saw the day of appointments was wide open at the Secretary of State. I was literally in and out of there within 12 minutes total, including waiting in line for the security guy at the door.
I remembered this location was here, and decided I'd give them another try, especially since my husband was so disappointed some tabbouli he got from some store a few days ago was fuzzy.
I was warmly greeted

This was my first middle eastern cuisine experience, and Halifax Falafel did not disappoint. The folks here were absolutely WONDERFUL people, and the food was out of this world. You will not ve disappointed, especially if you enjoy supporting good people. These guys really care about their customers and giving them a quality authentic product.

On the hunt for a great new lunch spot, my better half suggested trying Haifa Falafel. After a quick Yelp search to check out the menu and good photos, we made our way over one recent weekday for a bite.
Located on Washtenaw on the west side of Ypsilanti, Haifa is tucked away in the quiet corner of Glenview Crossing shopping center. After perusing the menu, I decided on a Fattoush Salad and a side of Falafel. We paid at the register, and waited for a few short minutes before our orders were ready.
Portions are more than generous here, as I found myself only able to get through about half of

Ann Arbor is such a desert for good middle eastern food. Palm Palace is trash, Zamaan is good on occasion, but Haifa is definitely the best Ann Arbor has to offer in terms of middle eastern food. I love a good hole in the wall, because it's usually where the best food comes from and they fit this bill. The falafel is excellent and the chicken is never dry. The plethora of pickled options and add-ons are really what make their wraps and bowls shine. I have been disappointed by freshness of both ingredients and their desert options, although not frequently, but that is the reason for the 4.

I've gotta update this to 4 stars for a few reasons.
1. This is fantastic tabbouli - they have the dressing right, there isn't too much wheat germ, and the cabbage on top is a really nice addition to an otherwise fantastic dish.
2. The staff are wearing masks now.
3. The sandwiches - while big go right down the hatch. And while I'm a little over-stuffed, it's completely worth it. I LOVE all the extra pickled stuffs in them (including that delicious cabbage.)
4. Parking is great.
5. Online ordering is pretty seamless.
6. Very friendly staff.

Whoa! This place is amazing! Great food, great portions, great spices and great prices. I stopped here for lunch today per a recommendation. Growing up in the A2 area I never even heard of this little place before and I can't believe it! I had the Mega Falafel Sandwich and that was it, this is definitely a two meal sandwich and maybe even four depending on your appetite! I love big food and this thing was huge for sure.
The inside of the establishment was clean and well maintained. There was just a single chef working so our order took a little time. As he caught up all the orders in front of

I honestly get a little weird about trying new places especially during covid, so I drove here thinking I'm not sure it has good reviews but we will see. I got to the parking lot and decided to give it a try. And oh man. It was so so good. Hands down best chicken shawarma sandwich I have ever had(I added rice to the sandwich as well) . The sauces are bomb! I hardly ever eat everything I get and I ate the whole thing and this sandwich was a huge portion!! I walked out to my car to take a few bites then take it home and sat here and ate the whole damn thing.
Alls I can say is WOW. So impressed

This used to be a go-to many years ago when I lived closer. Due to yesterday's experience with carryout, we will not be returning. Why?
1) No one was wearing masks!
2) The chicken shawarma sandwiches were bad. The meat didn't even taste like shawarma and lacked its usual sauce and flavor.
3) The hummus was slightly grainy, not super smooth and creamy.

Ordered take away from Haifa Falafel recently and was very satisfied.
We ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich, the fattoush with tawook, and the 6 free falafel balls from the Yelp offer. The falafel balls were very crispy on the outside and came with a delicious dill tahini sauce that was to die for.
The fattoush was bright, fresh, and perfectly dressed, though the chicken was just a little bit dry by the time we had picked it up. The chicken shawarma was outstanding and had a little bit of everything. The chicken was tender and the sauces, while a bit messy, were killer.
The order took ~15

My boyfriend and I decided to come here because we were craving arabic food. The inside was pretty small and the workers were nice. They seemed overwhelmed. We both ordered bowls with chicken and we used the yelp offer. We both have yelp so we got 12 falafel balls (initially they tried telling us one offer per order)! Unfortunately, the falafel wasn't good. This was disappointing considering it literally has the word in its name. It's not that they lakced flavor, the spice was just odd and too much. Also, they were very mushy on the inside and didn't taste like falafel at all. They

Ali and boys are TOP. EXCELLENT customer service w free falafels when u check-in, yay!
Food here is the best in town -- my fave spot when craving shwarma and kafta, and their signature garlic sauce!! Flavor is kickin', well balanced and super nuanced/layered, and most importantly, NOT overly salty. Plenty of parking and seating, and minimal wait time.
