I'm very disappointed with my experience. I don't feel as if my attorney, Courtney Bellio, was very invested in my case as there wasn't much in the way of preparing me for a hearing that ended up taking three days. She drafted a memo for the judge prior to the hearing and the way she worded some things ended up causing the judge to state that I was less credible than the respondent (my ex-husband). Jack Dekovich was rigorous and attentive with my child custody/relocation case. There were so many moving factors and he addressed each situation with tact even when the other parties attorney attempted tactic after tactic to prolong and make the case as difficult as possible. I went to Jack Dekovich to help me through an ugly divorce. He was good at returning calls and answering any questions I had while the divorce was proceeding. In the end he was able to work with the opposing side, avoided having to go to court, and earning me much of what I asked for in settlement.

I hired Michael Hallas at McKinley Irvin for a custody case. It was not exactly your normal custody case and odds were not exactly in my favor.
Michael worked hard, quick and was very professional. You could tell he cares about his work and isn't a "yes man" type lawyer. I also respected him for his ethical standards. The case did go in my favor but had it not I wouldn't have regretted hiring Michael.

Michael Hallas of McKinley Irvin law firm is by far the best attorney I have ever had. I would highly recommend him to anyone facing divorce or that needs a family law attorney, and I suggest that you contact them as early in the process as possible. Had I been referred to them at the beginning of my divorce I would have had a substantially better and much less expensive outcome.
