So I closed on a property in Northern Phoenix just recently and the sellers agent was part of this Rex company... I was the buyer, and my realtor was from a different agency. Typically in this industry it is courtesy to come collect your signage 24 hours after the close of a sale... I am pretty positive it is in Arizona Statute that the agents are required also update MLS within 24 hours after a transaction... I closed 8/9 and it is now 8/17 and the selling agent has yet to come collect their material or update MLS from ‘under contract’ to ‘closed.’ I feel bad throwing it away, but also

I was wrong about REX. Well, partially wrong. Some of it is my fault. We share the view that the RE model is antiquated & unnecessary. It's borderline extortion. Afterall, should I pay a buyer's agent? What does a buyer's agt even do? In the old days they had access to the listings. It was the way to know what was on market, the price, & to view the listings. It was the way to get market data, stats, & value estimates. Well, not the only way. You could grab a circular while carting groceries at the supermarket.
