Our dog trainer recommend this place and honestly I can't recommend them enough. With a previously abused rescue dog who really struggles with meeting new people in small spaces Dr.Miller and the staff at Amigo have been a godsend. We call ahead, they make sure we have clear paths to get into the exam room, are highly accommodating with Mr.Monk and his need for space, and still are able to provide quality animal care. I can't rave about them enough. Thanks Amigo!

I have been going to Amigo for years and I used to love them. I have sent so many friends and neighbors there as well and they had the same opinion. I think someone at the front desk changed or something but my experience has completely changed.
My cat had prescription food that I bought from Amigo every few months for over 2 years. My cat is VERY sensitive to food and this is the only food that did not give him hives and helped prevent his urinary tract problems. Back in December I got covid for weeks and my cat had run out of food. I had called to see if I could pay for the food over the phone

The front person and vet assistant were so nice and helpful. I love the vet. She is so nice and knowledgeable. She does not do things that don't be done. She is concerned to try and keep the cost down. She takes the time to answer all questions and explained what is happening with with what was wrong with my dog. I will definitely be going back when needed.

I brought my very nervous dog to Amigo Animal Clinic and they went above and beyond! Stella, my Aussie Mix, freaked out in the parking lot and Dr. Miller and her incredible staff helped me get Stella safely inside. The environment inside this fabulous place calmed Stella right away - They took her out to the Vet Tech bay and performed all the tests and needed services while keeping Stella happy and Calm - Dr. Miller sat on the floor next Stella and examined her while talking gently to her. Called today as I have a 17 year old cat who can't keep food down. She is most likely at the end of her life and when I called to schedule an appointment they couldn't see her til next Tuesday! Then she proceeded to tell me with no sympathy to take her to the er for pets and I explained I wanted her to go to the place she's always gone to. She said I wouldn't wait til Friday! This girl is a front office girl who obviously shows no concern for people who are about to lose their family member! The Drs have always been amazing and I'm sure that if they fire the front office

We took our two German shepherds here for years until recently when we moved across the valley. Both of our dogs have had many issues from foxtail infections to hip surgeries. Amigo Animal Clinic was always amazing to us and our pets. We mainly saw Dr. Miller. She would get right down on the floor with our dogs and was so caring. She was great about discussing options and always kept us in the loop as far as follow up. The techs and front desk staff were always friendly as well. I also felt their prices were very fair. I highly recommend this vet and will miss them!!! Thanks for the years of caring

We've been going to Amigo Animal Clinic for a few years, and up until this past week they were great. We've been going to them since we adopted our girl and she was about 7-8 months old; when we got her. We decided to wait for spaying until after she turned 2 to try and minimize the chance of spay incontinence. We finally had her spayed last Thursday. Frustrations began soon after:
1. We were charged an additional $70 on top of the surgery "due to multiple heats". Charge Wasn't disclosed up front with the estimate given to us 2 days prior to surgery.
2. We had her microchipped

I had to put down my little baby and best friend of 15yrs. When I took her in the day to put her to sleep, they took me into a low light room that had candles lit, all religions united merged into this little room on the walls etc. I felt so much more at peace and felt strongly I was helping my little one out of pain without all the guilt. I didn't break down and cry uncontrollably like I thought I would. I held her in her little blanket while she passed and the compassion from everyone there was unexpected. Very clean, very sweet, and very understanding of everything from the owner, vet techs

The veterinarians are outstanding and the co-owner works in the reception area and greats you with a smile and is quite knowledgeable. I used to work as a vet technician and am fiercely loyal to that vet. But he moved 45 min away, and I can't take a meowing cat or nervous dog for that long!
My sister found this clinic and we have all been so happy with their care! Everyone is relaxed and Dr. Miller even sits on the floor to examine my nervous whippet.
I laughed when they talked about my cat taking a daily pill. So, they did some other magical treatment :-).

I've had the pleasure taking my pets to Amigo on four occasions and they always have been spectacular. Zanita is a wonderful technician who is always very personable, she addresses the pet as kids in the family, which is always mood lightning and brings a smile to my face. Dr Miller is full of energy and knowledge. She is willing and able to tackle any problem your pet is having. Last but most important is Theresa. She is the most compassionate person in the entire clinic. She listens to customers, understands their needs, and strides to provide a clinic that serves the valley's pet

I can't say enough good things. My pet got injured on a Friday night right before closing time. Amigo took her in and did surgery that lasted until late evening. The staff knows she hates being up on the table, so they all examine her on the floor. They just go out of their way EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's truly impressive and greatly appreciated. I could never imagine going anywhere else.

My family has been going to Amigo since around 2004/2005 when we moved to the area. This is one of the most Loving Kind Caring practices I've been too! They truly are kind and loving to your pets! They have some of the best staff!
If you call there usually Admin manager Michelle answers the phones & runs the front desk with excellence and is superb! She knows the practice so well! Never will you be left with the feeling that she's just a clueless receptionist that dislikes her job! She's really the best! Very kind and will do what she can to accommodate your needs.

I take my three dogs here, and you will not find a more caring, compassionate, and educated team to care for your animal. I've tried some different vets around this area, and no one can hold a candle to Drs. Miller, Jensen, and the entire staff. Theresa, the office manager, is also exceptional. Let me tell you why I think Amigo is the best.

I have been going to Amigo for many years through many animals I have owned. It's a place I can trust and I love Rose as well. She treated my mom's cats and was the most compassionate care provider to her and was so patient with her sometimes difficult personality. They treat your animals like their own which is something rare to find. There are many vets in our area of northeast Phoenix so there is a lot of competition price wise -- I would rate them as fair and about in the middle. 600% mark up on antibiotics at this location. They "Can't compete with online pharmacies." So I was almost charged over $60 for a two week supply of antibiotics for a small dog. I can order online for about $12... I would have gladly paid for the "convince" of treating my dog same day, but this is OUTRAGEOUS. Thank you for having my pups health as your first priority- NOT. After spending $100 for Amigo to confirm the UTI I told them was the issue, you'd think that they could thrown $10 worth of antibiotics at me, you know since our appointment took over 2 hours..
