Services
Dr. Hartman earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry, with course work in nutrition, from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976. He earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School in 1980. Upon graduation, he served a two-year commitment with the U.S. Public Health Service at the Southern Huntingdon County Medical Center in Orbisonia, PA.

Hands down Total Health Dentistry is the best place for me and my kids. Super friendly and gentle. Other dentists have made over exaggerated treatment plans for things my kids didn’t actually need and Total Health Dentistry was honest, less evasive and all around amazing!!! Can’t recommend them enough!

Dr. Jeffrey Hartman has been my dentist for over 20 years. He is EXCELLENT! He has done an amazing job on my bridges and crowns and most recently he extracted a large molar. It was a very complicated extraction to me, but not for him. His work on this molar was exemplary! It involved my bridge connected to a crown that covered the tooth and three… roots he extracted. He saved the bridge and crown with his great expertise! I had no pain after the surgery as he used a PRF plug to aid in healing. In Nov 2015 I purchased an upper partial denture for $4,500 from Total Health Dentistry, State College. It supposedly came with a full "no questions asked" warranty. Unfortunately, when the denture cracked a few weeks ago, I could not find the paperwork, and when I went to the dental group for help, they refused to provide me with a copy of the contract or to honor the warranty. They instead made a hasty, inferior repair to the crack (for which I was charged $200!) which came apart within a week, and then refused to fix that. I then called Aspen Dental, State College, who repaired the denture perfectly
