Amazing people! Everyone was super friendly, nice and helpful. They made me feel comfortable and assured me they were going to help. Everywhere I called to get an appointment as a new patient was booked till August at the earliest. They got me in next day! I highly recommend Family Dentistry at SouthWood!

So this was going to be my first trying this office and a new dentist since moving here... set an appointment 3 months. Pretty typical. But I get a text 5 days before my appointment saying they have meetings so they have to reschedule me... and the next available is may???? Lol really?? 4 more months??? Not exactly what I would call customer service in any way... dont recommend wasting time with this place.

I would like to say that the dentist here and the staff are generally amazing and I hate to be the person that writes a review whilst angry.
However, after having scheduled an appointment over 6 months ago to get a cleaning and a tooth looked at (one that was filled by the dentist in April/May I cannot recall) they canceled my appointment without speaking with me. Someone from their team left me a voicemail to contact them regarding my appointment. When I called this morning I was notified that my appointment had been canceled and that a new appointment would be some time from now.

If there was a way to rate this office with an infinite number of stars my choice of stars would be infinite as in as professional/competent/kind a business/service/professional organization I have ever supported. Doc Montalvo is of course, the leader, and the best dentist who has ever treated me. However the measure of a business is in the quality of the supporting staff. The dental assistants/hygienists and administration staff equal... No ... (withdraw equal as a descriptor) ... The kindness and competence of the staff surpasses even the amazing Doc. Kaleigh was absolutely amazing! Super sweet and kind! Just got into an accident and lost a few teeth and southwood was able to get me in next day after I called 20+ offices in Tallahassee. Super amazing staff. Honest and they talk with you about your options. Truly care about their patients. Will definitely be back!

The staff was so nice and helpful. All of them had smiles on and made me feel welcomed. When I first called to get an appt, the lady I spoke with was absolutely wonderful, she was so nice and helpful! I tried calling several other places but a lot of them were rude and said they didn’t take my insurance, etc even though they didn’t even ask me if I would still like to make an appt.. they just outright denied me. I was even willing to pay cash because I needed an appt so bad! But Family Dentistry at Southwood was NOT like that at all, they are so helpful, kind, and understanding! I am glad I
