This place can frankly go screw themselves. I have been applying since November of 2021 and we were approved until December 20th when we walked in to get the keys and were told THEY NEVER HAD OUR APPLICATION. I have called 20 times to confirm that we were approved. They kept telling us that we were moving in and then tried to charge us $1,300 for a one bedroom. I have all the screenshots to prove it. these people are liars and should be sued for what they have done to us. We are now homeless because of this company. DO NOT MOVE IN

I was wary about this place originally because of the many bad reviews. However, I'm writing this in 2021 as an undergraduate student at IUS who is studying music.
The apartments were bought out by a new management company and the new company is really good. I've had maintenance issues resolved within a day. They gave me the same apartment that they showed me. I've even had a lockout before and they came in the dead of night over to unlock it for me (for a small charge).
It's really affordable, around $400-$800 a month. Professional response times, maintenance times, and overall a really solid

I did my entire PhD while living here. As a PhD student I make very little money, but these apartments were affordable. My apartment is quite nice to live in, and I can see IUS from my window. The new management company that acquired the property in 2021 is very good. They are fixing many things former managing companies let go. As long as this management company has the property I would definitely suggest living here.

Worst place to live, do NOT live here. Lived here for 2 years and was never happy. They pair you with the dirtiest roommates then would make you pay to move to a different apartment. Customer service sucks. I know first hand that they have never hired somebody competent that knows what their doing because they hired my roommate. Every employee I have seen working there is only ever one their phone and thats when someone is actually there. Has been emailing the manager there for months of moving out and each reply takes a week to over a month to respond. Still havent heard anything about my deposit

I was at this apartment for a year and a half while the rent wasn't a bad price the facilities was less that desirable. There were many Maintenance issues such as for my first two months the heat and AC would not work in the heat of the summer. With other issues arising thru my year and a half. I would not recommend renting from this complex. Now It is over a month since I ended my lease and have yet to receive my return on my deposit. I continue to call each week asking about it and they continue to say it will be a couple weeks. I think they are just stalling till I forget about it.

I will tell anyone with a set of ears NOT TO RENT HERE. Management is absolutely terrible. They are not helpful and do not respond in a timely manner to your requests! Don’t expect to get your security deposit back. We were told that routine carpet cleaning at the end of the lease would not be at your expense, but now I actually owe them money to have it done. The apartment was disgusting when we moved in and the showers were stained. The pictures we took of the damages that were there when we moved in to ensure we would get out security deposit back have been “lost.” I’ve never been more

The annex is not a bad place to live, the only problem is the management. They are non responsive or take way longer than they should to respond to you. And there’s hardly ever anyone working in the front office during their supposed “open hours”. When you call during their office hours no one ever picks up and when someone does pick up they have no idea how to help you other than to “write down your name” and give your problem to their higher ups. The apartments themselves aren’t too bad nor great, but the price is decent. As of recently, they got a new management team so hopefully

Zidan has effectively made it so college students are no longer welcome here.
When I left my first review, The Annex was under different management. I had left my original review empty because everyone else who has left a negative review has accurately reflected my experience that I've had here as well.
However, I feel I must now provide my own review to hold Zidan accountable. The Annex is a student living community. Which means it primarily caters to college and university students. Prior to Zidan's acquisition of the Annex from Granite Student Living there was not an income requirement that

This is honestly the worst place I have ever lived. No one who works there knows what they are doing. They’re never there. They don’t answer their phones They know how bad everything is yet make it so there’s “no way” you can get out of your lease. I’ve complained multiple times and yet my voice isn’t heard. I tried to buy out my least and they won’t let me leave. The apartments are infested with cockroaches. It’s so dirty. I had an issue with my roommate they tore down my door and made me feel extremely unsafe yet the apartment ignores my call for help. Please please do NOT sign
