Principal Properties was unfair to me as a tenant. I lived at one of their properties (Pettit Maison) in Virginia Gardens for 17 years. During that time I had to wait months to get a defective stove replaced and days to have a stopped-up bathroom unclogged, among other things. The sewer system once flooded and my apartment did not have running water for days or hot water for a month forcing me to move to another unit. To make matters worse, after I moved my rent was raised by an extra $50 although my rent had already been raised that same year. The swimming pool has had several Department of Health
