Been ordering from this place for about a year now. Consistently great food. Amazing wonton soup. Fried rice made the right way. The best boneless ribs. Fair pricing. Cannot ask for more!

Bleh.

1) The spring roll was really just an egg roll in a different wrapper. Normally vegetarian, this spring roll had pork in it. Very disappointing.

2) Everything was bland. It LOOKED great but tasted like... not much.

3) Roast pork lo mein was made with chicken and not roast pork. We had like 4 items and they messed up 2 of them.

Red Chopsticks is 1,000,000 times better but it's closed on Mondays. Lesson learned: don't get Chinese food on Monday.

Excellent food, customer service, and beyond clean!!! I love Chun Mei!!! It's also very conveniently located. I spent part of my childhood in Flushing and have lived in Manhattan for decades so I feel like this can be perceived as an "expert" recommendation!

I don't know what happened. Ever since the owner/chef moved to the current location, except for the sesame noodles, the food is consistently horrible- watery, bland, soggy. One star for the pleasant owner and one star for the sesame noodles.

Regular Chinese take out. Their lunch specials are decent priced and large portions. General tsos chicken is pretty crunchy and good. Their fried rice is pretty flavorful. Also tried their spicy dumplings which weren't that good in my opinion. Skin too thick and meat kinda stringy. Will need to try other lunch specials.

Massapequa has a ton of Chinese Restaurants, but very few really good ones. This is very tasty and has the best fried rice, soups and lo mein of all.

This place has exceeded my expectations more than once. Food is good. No off taste. Seems to be fresh. Chicken was all white meat and tender. Not greasy.

Too heavy/greasy. Can't explain it as I'm not sure what they do differently. It's ok, but doesn't compare to Lees (which sadly closed). Chinese food in the massapequa area sucks!

They have changed owners in the last 6 months. The food had gone down a bit until the new owner took over. They are amazing. I love the beef and broccoli in garlic sauce and the sesame chicken. The egg rolls are addicting. Enjoy!!!

I live nearby Chung Mei and have been ordering from there for years. Today, when I went in to pick up my order, I saw one of the cooks drop a steamed dumpling on the floor. He picked it up, placed it back in the water for maybe 10 seconds, and then placed it back in the take out container. When I questioned them about this incident, the staff, who for years I can attest surely speak workable English fine, either feigned not speaking English or could not understand my protest. Who knows what kind of practices they do on a regular basis. I will be finding a new Chinese place.

Solid hole in the wall place in Massapequa. Food is great and prices are reasonable. The only con I can possibly think of is how when I say make it crazy super spicy it never is.

Literally worst Chinese food I ever had. Oil dripping from it.. Rice was black and I complained and the guy said that's how it comes. Do yourself a favor and order somewhere else. Also they don't carry BBQ sauce

I agree with Lance L.!! I love this place! Yes, the food can be oily but this is TAKEOUT CHINESE FAST FOOD. That is to be expected. Its not a 5star gourmet restaurant but it his the spot every time I need a fix of chinese takeout. They are very hard working people, even their kids work over the holidays. I often see them doing homework in the joint. The guy recognizes me and knows my order, he even recognizes me when I order over the phone! Very personable, very humble. Very yummy. And reasonable to boot!
