Woody is well-versed in wills, trusts, estates, business law, real estate, and municipal law.
Brian Schaefer assists clients with elder and special needs law, estate planning, and estate administration. Laura Wehking has been a loyal and valued employee of the firm since 2005 and has worked in the legal field for 25 years. Laura focuses on assisting clients with estate administrations and she also sometimes assists with estate planning and other matters. Laura has been a North Carolina Notary Public since 1989 and holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Paralegal Studies from St. Johns River Community College in Florida.
Susan Purvis, a Certified Paralegal, has provided excellent service to our firm since 2002. She brings a wealth of experience to the firm's practice, having worked in the legal field for the last 27 years. Brian Schafer has been helping me become my Mom's legal guardian in a time of great medical distress. His knowledge and experience has helped me navigate a very confusing financial & legal situation.

I needed some legal advice regarding setting up my handmade business. Chase Wells is a talented artist who sells his graffiti art in a local gallery, so I felt he would understand my needs.
