The La Gondola restaurant continues to set the standard for cuisine, service & style in the kosher gastronomical world. When we open our doors in June of 1992, it became an instant success and culinary phenomenon. We were the first kosher restaurant in los angels to open its doors in a very busy business area and not in the "hood".
Our signature dishes, from appetizers and entrees like our bbq Beef ribs and chai steak put us on the kosher food map internationally, and our national clients, until today will order our great food to be shipped nationwide. Over the span of 2 decades our menu has changed with our customers. From a very traditional Northern Italian menu, over the years we introduced California, Asian, Mediterranean cuisine to our menu and the latest, sushi.

Both the food and the service were amazing! We came for an early dinner, at about 5:00. We got to see all the staff coming in for the Dinner shift, and it was so nice to see how happy all the employees were. They all were in good spirits and looked like they were proud to be a part of the team. We are sure it must start at the top! Shout out to all the Managers and Staff - Exemplary Comradery!

I would have thought that a restaurant that knows how to keep kosher would be able to follow the Covid-19 health guidelines meticulously. I was dismayed that several of the stuff, including the owner(s) were very lax about the health protocols, either wearing no mask indoors, or wearing it below the chin, where it does absolutely nothing to prevent particles from being spread around.
This was our first time at this restaurant. We had heard good things about it and decided to check it out for a late lunch. The restaurant was not very busy at that time, and perhaps that was the reason why the staff

I got the avocado wrap and duck spring rolls both delicious
They give you this weird garlicy butter with bread as a filler
And they I got the 16oz steak very good
I tasted the chai steak.... and wow that's even better I was to full for dessert
Overall nice place looks a little older but good food good service (and fast)

Best all around experience I've had in Los Angeles. Ask for David to be your server.
Not only is the food incredible, the service itself is an experience. They will keep you entertained and create an overall ambience of joy that is unbeatable.

Blew my mind!
We had the spicy tuna rice cakes, ribs, chicken bacon sliders, fries, and bolognese
I also had an old fashioned.
Everything was great we had reservations in advance
they sat us right away.
The waiters were all kind and helpful
The ribs were a touch too sweet
Overall I liked it and would go back for sure.

This place is amazing. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I had the spaghetti. The sauce and the meat tasted excellent. The portions were also generous. I had a raspberry lemonade which was also delicious and sweet. This is definitely a classy restaurant. I would come back for any special occasion.

We came for my wife’s (who is a quadruplet) and her 3 siblings’ birthday. We were served by David, who made our experience nothing short of magical. He was hilarious and served us food that must have been prepared by heaven. The drinks that david recommended were perfectly tailored to our personas and he joined us for our l’chaim! I was able to get away from work to take my brother to a bday lunch and this place is just down the street from my office which was perfect since it was a walking distance . We ordered appetizers which came pretty fast (although the waitress forgot to place the order for one so it came 2 minutes prior to the main course) but we enjoyed every bite of it. The only let down was that when we ordered dessert that took like 20 min which makes no sense if you see the size of the

Amazing food with a very elegant experience. Food was kosher which wasn't something I needed but glad I tried. Staff was very friendly and on it. Refills were ready and at the table was we finish the last slip. Owner was very interactive, introducing and chatting with customers. Would highly recommend for a good night out if you are looking for kosher or not. Will be back for sure. Next time will be ordering the chicken sliders and flat breads again.

This restaurant has gone downhill. Too bad. A while ago I ate there and ordered chicken and waffles - the chicken was raw inside as in purple/pink. They barely apologized. I told the owner and he said he'd make it up to us but didn't. Then for our anniversary we tried it again and it was a disaster. Our waiter was rude - made nasty comments and the food was barely even good. Very sad because we've been longtime customers for over 20 years. I contacted the restaurant, the owner a couple of times to let them know but they never got back to me. Customer service isn't a priority

I would like to start with stating that the food is of the greatest quality but unfortunately the service is substandard. I placed an order at 11:38am and the food didn't arrive until 2:25pm!!!! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. How far is the restaurant, you say? TWO BLOCKS AWAY.
I advise all, do not order from them unless you have a pluthera of time and not hungry what so ever.

P.S. the driving was super nice, apologetic and passed along my complaint to his manager.

Came in with a few co workers and was pretty excited to try something new in Beverly Hills.
Ordered the Steak and Frits and I was pretty impressed by the portion of the plate. However, the chimichurri was a bit too dry and I felt like fries didn't go well with the steak. The plate nearly reminded me of Asada Fries.
The highlight of lunch was their Avocado Wraps. Delicious delicious delicious. Strongly recommended.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants to dine-in.
The food was beyond amazing. The appetizers are to die for. I usually get the candy bacon, avocado egg rolls, and the tuna tartar, and for my main course I get the pastrami salmon, with a side of veggies and mashed potatoes.
Made the staff aware of my peanut allergy, and felt very safe and secure, they were super friendly and professional through it all.
They are on 'Open Table' as well, which makes it a lot easier to make a reservation at anytime.
Highly recommended!

I got the "Bacon Guys Burger" as well as a side of fries. Given that it's La Gondola, I expected an exorbitant price. Was hoping for more of the bacon instead of a giant piece of onion. Overall, the burger was good, but lacked the reason I purchased it in the first place. Sauce was good, went light on it as I didn't want it to overpower the burger. Fries were standard, nothing to write home about. $7 for medium-large portion of fires was ok.
Only reason I didn't give this 2 stars is because the staff was helpful in answering my questions and respectful, as you would expect
