Both grew up in Southern California and received their undergraduate degrees from UC Berkeley. They met while enrolled in the UCLA School of Dentistry.

Dentistry is a family affair at Pomerado Dental. Not only are we a husband and wife dental team, but our entire office works together to give you the same kind of treatment and care we would give our own family - the very best. Dr. Salamy is a native San Diegan. He grew up in Allied Gardens, near San Diego State, and attended Patrick Henry High School.

For over twenty five years, our practice has been an active part of the Poway, California area. We're proud of our community and want to share with you some of the events going on in our part of the world. One of our favorite spots is Old Poway Park. The kids love to ride the train on the weekends, and the Hamburger Factory is always a fun lunch spot.

My wife and I were looking for a dentist after becoming very unhappy with our previous dentist. We could not be happier! The entire team is amazing and offer outstanding care with integrity and honesty. The hygienists are incredible, front office super cordial, and the dentistry team is friendly and professional. We have now each had 3 visits so we can confirm this is the culture of the office not just a one time new client situation. I highly recommend this office.

First time visit & was impressed. Stacy at the front desk, gave me a big greeting, & knew my name. Danielle gave me a thorough cleaning & found a loose filling. Her cleaning was excellent. I will go back to her in 6 mo's. Rose took x-rays, then I saw Dr. Salamy, my new dentist. He gave me the best check up I've ever had. Filled my tooth with the assistance of Rose who was very good by his side. I had no pain or discomfort, even when Dr. Salamy numbed the area. Lots of nice conversation with everyone. Prices were not bad for all I had done. I will return & am happy I found

A solid, well-run office. I and my family have been going there since 2008. They are exceptionally honest - They won't recommend work you don't need. They are very skillful. Dr. Mark and his Wife are professional in every way. They honor almost all dental insurance and they are always there to speak to you by phone if you have any issues you need to discuss. this office is HIGHLY recommended.

This is a great dental office. The women in the office are friendly, and very accommodating in getting appointments for my husband and I at the times we need them.
Michelle is a FANTASTIC dental hygienist. I don't think my teeth have ever been this clean. She is quick, gentle, and precise. It was actually almost relaxing at my last visit and generally I sort of dread going to the dentist.

Had him as a dentist for years. He sent me to Rubinoff for Perio work and that was a disaster. When my teeth shifted I asked him to fix it. Ya know the blue paper with the tap tap tap. Not him. I don't know what he did but he didn't really impact the bite problem. Finally went to a dentist that fixed my bite and other issues.

Dr. Salami and his staff are professional, friendly, honest, and gentle. I have had horrible experiences with other dentists trying to get me to pay out of pocket for services my insurance won't cover, telling me I have 9 cavities that are "invisible" on the x-ray but I have to trust them, hurting me during cleanings, and lecturing political crap to me about how GW is the savior of our nation while my mouth is full of metal instruments and I can't argue back...
