I recently took the recommendation for this office and saw them for a cleaning. Afterwards I switched my son from a popular pediatric dentist to Alex Bell and we had a wonderful experience. Dr. Starkey was so professional and patient as was her assistant. They were understanding with my 5yr olds anxiety and talked him through everything calmly while allowing me present to hold his hand. As a parent in todays world it can be really hard trusting people alone with your child especially for a dental experience. I loved that they did everything to allow us both to feel comfortable. The staff was extremely rude and unfriendly. I am a person with diagnosed panic disorder that informed them of this prior , during my visit I was told new information about my procedure that was very concerning and I was noticeably panicking. Because of this the staff was very rude , especially Dr. Shufflebarger who was extremely insensitive and argumentative. When he walked out of the room after making some offensive insinuations, I told the nurse that he was the rudest dr I had been to. Next thing I know the Dr comes back to tell me to get out , because I called him rude. I wasn’t aware having

Wonderful, caring dentist and equally great assistants and office staff. They are great at keeping you informed as to what they are doing/going to do. They are so good that I actually started to fall asleep while the dentist was removing my mercury fillings. (And I normally am not a fan of going to the dentist).

Alex Bell dental is the best dentist office I've ever been to! Clean, kind people, and holistic practice! Dr. Nyakundi is wonderful! I always enjoyed talking to him because he is very kind, funny and makes you feel comfortable! Dr. Nyakundi was the first dentist that I've ever experienced to give me a numbing shot that I didn't even feel! Amazing! I had a lot of work done at this office and was never in any kind of pain during my appointment! I love how you can relax and watch Netflix while being worked on.

Dr. Nyakundi and staff are INCREDIBLE! They got me in when I had a broken tooth and I am so thrilled with the care that I have received since then. He was very patient in listening to and answering all my many… questions. The staff was great with talking over the phone, they even prescribed me medicine when I was in PA so that I didn't have to pay another urgent care bill. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Nyakundi and this office. They truly deserve to have a growing, thriving business. I will be sending everyone I know their way!

This was my third visit at Alex Bell Dental. All 3 visits were as pleasant as a dental visit can be. Now all the amalgams (mercury fillings) are removed from my teeth!

I had a tooth infection and called Alex Bell Dental.
Dr. Nyakundi saw me right away and took very good care of me. My overall experience was very good. He did a thorough exam and prescribed some antibiotics. I'm looking forward to having all my services done with him.

Incredible Dental office. I had some serious issues and Dr. Cobb and all the Staff were patient, kind, diligent and so knowledgeable in treating me. They are very focused on the latest and healthiest options for treating you. You can tell all the staff love being there which translates into a wonderful environment in the office. They really care about each other and their patients.
