I had such a great experience here! I splurged and decided to get the spa pedicure after a long week, and it was well worth the $50. First of all, the salon is pristine and the pedicure chairs provide a wonderful massage. My technician was friendly and attentive, and gave me a plate of fruit to munch on as I enjoyed the pedicure.

I really really wanted to love this spot but had a few really negative experiences here that have shaped my view. First, I was cut in the process of applying my dip manicure. Instead of pushing cuticles back they used a dremel to shave away the cuticle, and the technician cut me twice in the process. Second, the manicure I got was extremely thick, which in itself was not a dealbreaker as the shape was nice. After a few days my manicure started peeling from my nail-there must have been an issue in the bonding process, and large chips quickly appeared. After multiple calls and messages were not responded

Highly recommend! Very relaxing atmosphere with soothing music--although I did go on a Monday afternoon and they were not busy. Liz did my pedicure and she was very detail oriented and thorough. Great foot massage! Unlike many other nail salons, she didn't watch TV or talk to coworkers during the massage, she was engaged and focused on me the whole time.

In a word, my experience today was disappointing. I came in for shellac removal on my feet and spa pedicure.
First, I learned that they charge $7 extra for buffing of the toenails, even though I chose this instead of the nail polish application. In all my years of getting mani/pedis, this is the first time I've encountered something like that--it's usually included in the price, just like regular polish application. Besides, buffing takes less time and effort.
Second, and more important, although my pedicure experience itself was enjoyable--and my aesthetician was very friendly--the

I've been coming to Allure for about a year now. Even after moving out of the neighborhood I still make the trek to the area because they do such a nice job and have such a peaceful, clean environment. I've been to several other DC nail salons that are just far too cramped and busy. There's plenty of street parking as well as the giant grocery parking garage if you're desperate.
My pedicures are always amazing and gel manis are great. I haven't had the best luck here with dip nails as they were far too thick but otherwise am always pleased. Would recommend for a local

I usually don't like writing negative reviews, but I feel that I need to warn future clients to this nail salon of their deceptive business practices. This was my first time here. I specifically requested a pedicure, and was told to wait for the next available staff. I found two women there waiting for a manicure. Usually when I get service at a nail salon, there's a seat for pedicures and separate seating for manicures, so imagine my surprise when the guy working on my feet started rushing and doing my nails and faking a conversation (the entire time he never spoke a word to me before

Me and my colleagues went for the first time had a appointment, and was on time and still didn't get full service and the service we receive wasn't to happy we were charge $505, for services that wasn't fully done, my colleagues wasn't happy overall and nail tech wasn't sanitizing in between manicures, sorry but over priced especially when you are not receiving full service, I arrived at 4:10 and only received a manicure and left at 6:10.....

Not bad, but not great. The prices and atmosphere are spa-like, but the male service provider is more like what you'd find at the cheap salons on every corner. The woman might be better: she had the only customer when I arrived, my guy answered the phone (yes, while doing my pedicure) and setup several appointments for her and she had people waiting for her when I left.

Love this place! I have four nail salons within a 5 minute walk from my home, but choose to go a little farther to Allure because of how great their manicurists are. I also appreciate that the salon is spacious, so it never feels like you’re on top of people, even when it’s crowded.

I wanted to LOVE this place as an alternative to my staple nail spa! However, I am filled with remorse. So, due to my primary nail spa being closed amid the Pandemic (COVID-19) I saw Allure was open for light business and taking customers. Plus the photos of the decor as well as area of the salon seem welcoming! Long story short I was able to get an appointment same day right after work w/ KENNY! I was really iffy about going here after reading wishy washy reviews but decided to give it a try today. I stopped in and said I'd like to come back in an hour, so technically I made an appointment. I returned after some errands and they were ready for me as soon as I picked out my color. I did a basic pedicure with Anna to see what their services are like and had a great experience. She asked me my preferences as we went along and did a beautiful job overall. I'll be returning to Anna for upgraded future pedicures.

Never been so stressed out while getting a manicure. Second time going here -- first time I had Stephen and he was wonderful. Went back today and Fifi did my nails -- I knew the second she started filing that something wasn't right -- I could tell she wasn't very experienced. Before polishing I asked her for the file so I could finish it myself because my nails weren't properly shaped. She swapped with someone else to do the polish. I asked her to reshape but she took too much -- that the sides of some of my nails are down to the bed and the polish job was subpar with top coat all

I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure done in the evening the night before a flight for my friends wedding across the country. Nick who did them seemed to struggle and then he knocked a fan on to my toe nails while doing my manicure. I asked him to check my nails he said stated they were fine. When I arrived home at 8:01 pm and noticed that both my feet were very smudged and air bubbles in my gel manicure I called to see if I could get them fixed the answering machine picked up. In between flights the next day I called to explain what happened and they said come in to get it fixed I explained

The first time was average - good manicure (though it took a LONG time) but they sat me in the middle of a wedding party (bride on one side, bridesmaid on another - other bridesmaids behind me getting pedicures). Bridal parties by all means should have fun - but it's hardly relaxing for the stranger forced to sit in the middle.
This time around was what made me not want to give this place a third try. When I arrived, I was told to pick a color and they'd be with me
