Dr. Steven Driggers completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Ball State University before attending the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1985. He has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years, two of which were spent working with elderly patients in nursing homes.

Dr. Sam is amazingly kind and down to earth. He knows what he is doing and faces challenges with enthusiasm. I've had cleanings, fillings, and crowns from Dr. Sam. He did a fantastic job each time! I tend to get anxiety with drilling, but he and his staff are so great to work with me and make sure I feel calm.

Had a terrible experience elsewhere, but coming here changed the whole situation. Right from the front office, they were all pleasant and warm. Loved how clean and organized the place is. Dr Driggers walked me through every step and explained it so well that I understood what needed to be done. Cleaning by Carrie was seamless and fun. Am staying and also bringing my kids along. Great experience here.

Gentle and Amazing Care!
Sonshine Dental is an amazing office. I must admit I have NEVER enjoyed going to the dentist before going here. LOL...can't say that I love to go, but it is a necessity and now I don't mind it at all. Carrie does a great job listening to me. She is so gentle, and she always comes up with tips to help me with some of my oral challenges. They are really a sweet, kind and professional office. This starts with the warm greeting you get from Jeanne, continues with Carrie's kindness while she cleans, and ends with the care of Dr. Driggers. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

As a Doctor myself, I was AMAZED by my experience!!!
I must confess that having a dental extraction made me nervous!! Why? Because when my wisdom teeth where removed I was asleep 💤.
NO WORRIES HERE!!!!! I was totally comfortable and
Dr. Driggers wonderful banter made it so great!!!!
If you are hesitant about dentists DON’T BE…HE AND HIS ENTIRE STAFF WILL CHANGE YOUR MIND!!!

I am 65 years old and have seen plenty of dentists' offices, and Sonshine Family Dental is one of the most friendly and professional with which I have become familiar. For my appointment this morning, I received two helpful reminders including one earlier in the morning. I arrived early while staff were in a meeting, so I was greeted in the usual friendly manner. I was invited in for my check-up exactly on time at 9:00. The assistant was welcoming, professional, and efficient. She carefully cleaned my teeth, updating me on the procedures, and engaging me in friendly conversation. She finished up

I have been coming to see Dr Driggers since I was a little girl, and now I bring my kids. I have never been able to relate to the horror stories people have told about the dentist. My kids love this office and the staff here make us feel like family! I have never been nervous coming in and I always feel amazing after I leave. I would/have HIGHLY recommend this office for any dental needs for adults and kids. 😁

I switched dentists and came to Sonshine dental from a high recommendation and they definitely lived up to it. Walking in, I was approached with a smile and a description of what my appointment would entail so I knew what to expect. The hygienist was kind and informative as well as the dentist. I didn’t feel rushed at all and I like that I didn’t have to wait a long time throughout the whole process. Thank you to all of you for making my first appointment easy and pleasant. I’m glad I was recommended to come here ! =)
