I've trained at many gyms in the state (including the LSU Rec and Red's in Lafayette), and PrimeFitness is by far my best gym experience. The equipment is excellent, and the facilities are spotless. And if you're interested in doing personal training, this is the place to do it. Highly recommended.

One of the best if not the best gym I have ever had a membership at. The owners are very professional and frequently check in to make sure members are happy and getting the most out of their membership. The equipment is top of the line and the inbody scans are a fantastic tool to help track progress. The classes are another amazing benefit of this gym and the instructors do a wonderful job of creating a comfortable welcoming environment. I can't recommend prime fitness enough, if you're looking to join a gym definitely set up a tour.

I've been going to I've been going to this gym for five years now and it is the best facility I've ever been to. Between the excellent machines, wonderful staff and the high technology equipment it doesn't get better than this. Plus they have a sauna! They have state of the art equipment and are the only ones in the nation with EGYM. Full luxury experience. Highly recommended!

Had to update after the additional space was unveiled at the Poydras location. The layout is great, it’s so smart and thoughtfully designed. Hard to imagine it got better, but it did. This gym is an absolute wonder. It's a gorgeous facility with world-class amenities and an endless choice of serious gym equipment. Personally, I love the virtual classes mixed in with the free weights and have reshaped my body in the past year. The trainers are all super knowledgeable and friendly, the space is clean and safe, and the atmosphere incredibly inspiring. I can't recommend it enough for people who want

I've been a member for three years and I'm sold on the egym virtual trainer. I go when I want 24/7 and I get great feedback from the app. The gym is clean and soothing. Great design. I go 3 to 4 times a week. Love the flexibility of working out with a "trainer" on my time. I can't imagine a better gym in New Orleans. Really.

I have been in the fitness industry for a very long time and have never in my life been as disrespected as I was in both of his facilities. There's no staff that can help you except him and that will inconvenience his life because the number you call is his cell phone. When I went to get my money back he literally told me I can't come back in to his gym. Good luck Mark, you need it.

As a gym owner myself, there are a lot of qualities I look for in a gym. I am not one to give a bad review solely because I would never want someone to do that to me. But this is necessary and I hope you read! To the eye, this was a very appealing gym. However the owner had the worst customer experience I have ever experienced.
He is the only one who can and will take money from customers. And made us feel like a inconvenience for wanting to use his facility while on vacation.

I was on vacation in NOLA in April 2019
I was looking for a gym near my hotel
I found Prime Fitness and made my way to the locked doors
I had to call a posted phone number and spoke with a remote employee who was rude and sounded as though I was bothering him by wanting to buy a weeks membership. After an unexplained waiting period of 15 minutes after I gave my CC info I was granted access into the small cramped space of a gym.
Granted the equipment was high end but the place had no soul or anything about it that would make me want to come back. It was devoid of energy

I met both the owners who are super nice and kind. I honestly came into New Orleans expecting to only find sup par gyms, but both locations are AMAZING. Brand new equipment, 24 hour access, at Julia street they even have have an inferred sauna! I'm surprised these gyms aren't packed given their quality and low prices.

This was my first time working out in this establishment. Mark and Anna were really friendly, helpful and were very accommodating. Since I'm on vacation I still wanted to keep up with my regular workout routine. I had a small gym in my hotel but it is super super small. When i looked this gym up on Yelp I was attracted by the equipment and space. Also I didn't realize it was directly in back of the hotel I was staying at. I love the free weights and weight machines that actually lift your body simultaneously with the plates. The fact you can have 24/7 access for a very good price is awesome

I worked out for years at Equinox, in NYC. I found it a hard act to follow. When I discovered Prime Fitness RX, located at 201 St. Charles Ave, in New Orleans, I hit the jackpot. It's open 24/7, it's got the nicest and most knowledgeable staff, it's clean and classy, and it's got the latest, high-end equipment. I love working out once again. Thank you PFRX!
