I had a very positive experience in dealing with 212 Tax & Accounting Services. I had a rather complicated situation with the IRS going back several years. Anil and his staff sorted through all of my documents very quickly and filed several amended returns to remedy my situation. First time I filed taxes by hiring a tax advisor and 212 tax accounting services did a great job. My case was slightly complicated as I had to paper file my documents. This was because I got married but my husband is abroad and we are going through his immigration. Anil was very knowledgeable about what I had to do which was a relief considering other companies didn't know. The staff was also very helpful, offered me coffee and photocopied documents for me. The location is close to Grand Central. The building itself has a very nice fancy ambiance.

I recently moved to NY and needed a CPA to help me with filing a full 1040 for the first time. Within just a few days, Anil and his team quickly finished going through my paperwork to meet the final filing deadline. I had a great experience with 212. Anil & Co. did a great job dealing with our complicated tax situation for 2014: marriage, moving to a new state, both enrolling in full time grad school, and the introduction of K1 income. TurboTax simply was not able to handle this, but 212 did a great job with all the returns and at a reasonable price. My only improvement was I wish they had asked for our direct deposit information ahead of time as they ended up filing such that we receive paper checks. Again, not a huge deal, but nice to keep everything electronic.

The most impressive thing about working with 212/Armel Tax Services is that they stay true to their word, unlike the couple of previous CPAs I have worked with.
I moved from NYC to South Florida a couple of years ago and was concerned about working with an out of state firm. But, I was completely put at ease by their outstanding response time and service has not changed one bit even though we now communicate through the phone, e-mail and their very easy to use secure online portal. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid service in the field tax and business.
