Dr. Claire Marie Rosen grew up in Kingman, Arizona where at age 5 she decided she wanted to become a veterinarian. A proud alumni of Ross University, Dr. Rosen finished her clinical rotations at WSU in Pullman Washington, and has been practicing in Tucson ever since. Dr. Rosen has a passion for surgery, but also delights in the sometimes more subtle subjects of endocrinology and diagnostic imaging.
I have been using Valencia Animal Hospital for my pets for many years. I have always found the staff to be very helpful and concerned for my pets' well being. They are courteous and always schedule an appointment to fit my needs. Dr. Claire Zepeda is always attentive and takes the time to thoroughly assess the problem.

My pets have been going to Valencia animal hospital for over a decade. We’ve had nothing but great service until just recently. The main vet was condescending and rude and made us feel awful about choosing what was best for OUR dog. I would give zero stars if it was possible. I am very disappointed that they said they would reach out to fix the situation and never responded. Awful customer service and awful for pets. Also after leaving an honest review we received a letter in the mail stating that our services were terminated. So unprofessional and rude and inconsiderate.

Vet tech was wonderful. She took a very detailed record of my dogs history to relay to the vet. I brought my pets full records for review, we formulated a plan after the doc took my dog back for an exam, they allowed me plenty of time to get in touch with my spouse, and the very called me over the weekend with the normal results, which was surprising and they emailed me a copy of the results for my records. Exceptional 1st visit. Also, they are an AAHA vet (those are kinda what we stick to)

They were able to get me in quick. And they provided meds for the problem i thought he had. But when my 13 lb terrier mix was so scared he was almost climbing on my back and didn’t want to walk with the vet tech to the back, i was told that i need to “walk him on a leash more and that will nip it, because he’s a dog, not a cat”. Literally told the vet tech when we arrived in the lobby that we played “ring around the Rosie” in the car because he didn’t want to come in (rightfully so, the vet is overwhelming and sometimes scary to pets). But she also explained everything in a good manner
