It was a very quiet, nice community. Landlords were extremely friendly and go above and beyond (almost like a BnB at times). The room was clean when we got it and we always felt safe. Fortunately, our neighbors above us weren't home 9/10 of the time do that was nice too. Overall, they were always quick to respond and more than fair. I absolutely recommend them.

I rented an apartment here for a few months as part of a travel contract. Getting in was quick and easy, the people who helped make it happen were accommodating with my situation. The apartment itself was spacious and clean, the area around it was quiet and close to where I worked. I would have been perfectly happy to stay longer if I needed to, the move out process was equally easy and quick. I'd definitely recommend it.

Since I started living here I have been HARASSED. If it wasn't neighbors it was Karen, our manager!!! Who has said complaints of mine were "untrue" and has straight called her tenants "a liar" when I was talking about some paper work we were going over I was looking it over as she was talking she yelled "Look at me!". ANOTHER incedent is then her accounting friend when going over a supposed 9 month late fee I hadn't paid or even heard of I get a notice of one day. Karen witnesses her accounting friend over the desk hands in my face, saying that I knew I didn't pay enough and all this jazz, still

We all know there is always going to be that one, sometimes two or three, that think the rules dont apply to them and if they throw a big enough tantrum then they will get what they want. Oceanwood used to be a good value, but the rents rise each year, and the value just isn't there anymore and you will pay too much for what you get. We will be moving soon due to rent increases. They also had termite problems this past year. Karen, the manager, is great and on the ball. The maintenance man, Vern, is good as well and quick to respond. The pool is nice, but since Lompoc is chilly most of the year use is sporadic. The new gym is actually a downgrade over the old equipment. For example, the old bench press and leg lift machines were much easier to use. The biggest problem is the rent

I absolutely loved living at this place! I loved having a work out room, pool and jacuzzi and a pool table in the clubhouse. The managers were great too. I would've stayed longer but the job and boyfriend situation changed so I had to move...Thankfully there was another Towbes Group property where I ended up...more on that in my next review.
