My interest in photography began in my late teens. It was a hobby that turned into a serious hobby that became a career. The encouragement of my friends and family led me to begin shooting professionally in 2006. I've shot weddings since the beginning, but in 2016 began shooting more corporate/commercial work under my partnership, Harman & Hall.
I've since taken a step back from weddings, but still shoot family and senior portraits alongside my corporate/commercial work. I also created the brand and now successful podcast, You can, man. Needless to say, I stay busy! I call Marietta, GA home along with my gorgeous wife of over 16 years, Bethany, and our three children, Luke b.

While in the Northeast Georgia Mountains for a recent shoot, I paid a visit to my good friend Kurt with Saga Mountain Workshop. Everyone should check out the amazing homemade pieces he's creating. I first met Cliff and Heather over 4 years ago shooting their wedding. We hadn't kept up much other than on facebook which is where I started reading updates from Heather about her miraculous journey bringing little Colette into this world.
While in North Carolina earlier this week for Zach and Meredith's wedding I visited Moore's Creek National Battlefield Park. My Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather, Zachariah Harman, fought against the Loyalists at this battle under the command of Patriot officer, Richard Caswell. For you history buffs, the battle of Moore's Creek Bridge was a major victory for the Patriots and led to the end of British rule in North Carolina forever.

Tim Harmon is the consummate professional photographer. He is well prepared (checked out our venue ahead of time), and so easy to work with. Tim and his second shooter very unobtrusively managed to take candids at our wedding and reception that were amazing. They captured a guest's personality, many special moments (even some that we didn't see!), and the general all around joy that we felt that day. He is creative but not pushy as he was happy to honor some specific requests, but also came up with unusual and perfect settings. The posed photos do NOT look posed. On pretty short notice, Tim shot our wedding (and an 'engagement shoot' the month prior) in September 2014, and we've very pleased with the results. Not only did the photos turn out great, he was easy to work with and we wouldn't hesitate to use him in the future. His style was the exact mix of 'documentary' and 'artsy' that we were looking for: Photos that do a great job capturing the moment and that are fun to look at, even if you weren't there.

My husband and I were so blown away by our engagement and wedding photos! Tim does an amazing job of capturing moments in the most authentic way. The day of our wedding, Tim showed up with a vision and worked incredibly well with everyone involved. He made the group photo time enjoyable, and brought out the best in everyone. During the ceremony, Tim was discreet and professional, and he managed to grab so many great shots that are now very special to us. Tim not only had a great eye for the small details of our wedding day, but he also quickly adapted and overcame unforeseen challenges that arose on our day.
