My dogs had been coming here for a long time. The service for the front desk is good sometimes depending on who the person is. I had an emergency for my dog and I called and they turned me away. The receptionist said I will have to go somewhere else because they were too busy to take me. Not an ounce of empathy in her tone. She also mentioned that they close soon and therefore will definitely not be able to see my dog. I was expecting her to say that she will relay the info to my dogs doctor and she can give me a call when she has the chance. But I got NOTHING. My dog is a senior and had issues

They're prices aren't "competitive" by any means (kinda on the pricey side) but they're good. So if price isn't an issue, this is a great vet. But if you're on a fixed income, (like myself) unfortunately this is not you're vet. I have 3 dogs, they chewed their tails until they made sores on them, large bleeding sores. For their treatment and meds it was $698.(that might not seem like a lot to some but for me, it's a lot) and they set up a treatment plan for allergy shots every 3 months (that's another $209). Have I been doing the shots? Yes! Yes

You aren't going to find a better team. We have been going to Coit North for more than 10 years. Dr Lovell and his team are always so accommodating and so nice. I rescued a dog a few years ago who was terrified of vets (assuming a fair amount of abuse in his previous life and big scar on his leg). He literally runs into this place! He snuggles up to them. That means the world to me that he is so comfortable there and knows he is being taken care of of.
We have unfortunately had to have several dogs cross over the rainbow and they are so compassionate.
We are patients for life!

Do not take your pets to Coit North Vet. My cat is very ill and possiblly at the end of his life and they don't have time to see him (even though they saw him 24 hours prior and know how dehydrated and in bad condition he is in) and they were refusing to give us his records with his lab work. When I told Emily we wanted all our cats paperwork and we were leaving Coit North for another vet she hung the phone and then refused to answer again. My sister called back and Emily told her it would take a week to get the records because they are too busy. We went to the office and sat and waited.

This pace is ridiculous I called to get prescriptions called in to Costco and they said I have an outstanding bill! For one thing you never get out of the place without paying so I'm not sure how that would happen! 2 the woman pretty much called me a dead beat for not paying my bill. I asked if they mailed me a bill and she said we don't do that! So how would I know we owe money? And it was silence!

So I said so what your telling me is your holding my dogs meds ransom until I pay the bill and she admittedly said yes! Then said we don't call in prescriptions you'll need

My cats have been patients of both Dr. Lovell and Dr. Pruitt and we love them both. Dr. Pruitt is going above and beyond to improve the quality of life for my cat, Lily who is 20 and has end stage kidney failure. She has done more for us than any other vet has and even called us personally to check on Lily. Even though my cat won’t survive her illness, she has made Lily and us feel at ease and at peace. Bless Dr. Pruitt and her staff, she is the BEST vet in plano for cats, and I have been to a lot of other vets over the past 20 years, but she is the kindest, most knowledgeable and most professional

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE. No help to anxious dogs and threatened to euthanize not once but twice. How can a vet hospital not handle a dog for a simple vaccine smh shouldn't be a hospital then

Positive: Professionalism
Very nice and professional, they worked well around this pandemic with curbside service. Treated my best friend with care. The Doctor let me know by phone after she saw Oscar all about his check up. All the Vet Techs were first class!! Highly Recommended.

The doctors are very nice and capable. The staff is wonderful. However, they are quite expensive. Also, due to COVID, they only do curbside pickup to see your pets (pets go inside, you stay outside). I think this is quite over-the-top caution, given you can freely go in and out of every retail store, can see doctors, dentists and opthalmologists, can dine in restaurants, and so on.

This Vet Hospital is beyond amazing. They absolutely love and give the best care to all our animals. We have been seeing Dr. Lovell and team for over six years and couldn't be more impressed. If you are looking for the best diagnostician and the most compassionate staff to take care of your 4 legged companions--you are completely remiss if you go anywhere else!

The folks at Coit North Vet are really wonderful. They provide excellent care and they are so kind and compassionate towards me and my dog. Both the vets, Dr. Pruitt and Dr. Lovell, are incredibly knowledgeable and sweet, and every nurse and receptionist has been lovely to work with. My poor dog has chronic GI issues and they always make time to see him when he has a flare-up, and I can tell that they are so good to him behind the scenes because he's never worried or scared to go in. They've gone above and beyond with helping us navigate our dog's health issues and I am so glad that we found them

THE BEST VET IN THE PLANO AREA!!! THE SWEETEST STAFF AND THEY TRULY DO LOVE YOUR PETS!

When I took my dog to this veterinary, I knew I finally found a place that loves the animals just as much as I do.

I had an older dog that needed constant love and care. This place made me feel confident that he was treated with love.

I can't tell you how many times my buddy pooped all over their building during his last couple months. Not once did the staff make me feel guilty or more importantly make my buddy feel guilty.

The staff understood that my buddy meant the world to me, and they were patient

Jess Lovell and the team at Coit North have always done a great job with our family pets over the years. Our dog, GiGi, and our cat, CiCi, get the best personalized care. The friendly staff at Coit North met us at the door with smiles and cared for our pets the entire time. GiGi stayed for a long weekend and they took great care of her. We love the team at Coit North and Dr. Lovell. We'll keep driving the extra miles to get the extra care.

We've been using Coit North Vet clinic for about 10 years. Dr. Lovell and the staff here are wonderful and caring, they have taken excellent care of my fur baby and she even likes going to the vet, now.
Dr. Lovell isn't looking for ways to run up your bill like so many do these days. He is thorough in explaining everything that is going on with your fur baby and the options for treatment, while the staff offers pricing so you can build a treatment plan that you can afford. There's no pressure for high cost tests or unnecessary treatment.
I highly reccomend Coit North Veterinary Hospital.

My dog Roxi had a seizure a few years ago while taking her to a vet appointment at Banfield. It was very scary to witness. I immediately switched vets to Coit North Veterinary. Since then, Dr. Lovell and Taylor have come directly to my house every year to do the annual exams/treatments. I don't think they want "housecalls" advertised, but I have been so impressed with their true concern for Roxi I had to mention this. Roxi has not had a seizure since. She recently needed some oral cleaning on her teeth. But due to her chance of seizure, Dr. Lovell recommended something else done

My dog Shiner and I love the practice. Always spick and span with a knowledgeable doctor and a kind and compassionate staff. I recently left Shiner with them while vacationing. This was his first time away from home and I was very nervous. Was thrilled to see him joyfully running around on my return. He was well taken care of. In fact pampered thoroughly. Thanks Dr. Lovell and his team!

I've brought my dog to Coit North for grooming and laser therapies, and love the staff here. I've been to a number of vets in the Plano/Dallas area, and my dog seems the least scared here. I wish I had found them before his sister passed away. I feel like she might have lived longer if I had. They are all so gentle and kind. They aren't his usual vet, but when I've asked their vets to check him up, they've been super informative and helpful. My only gripe is that they are a bit far from me, but they make it worth the drive.

Wonderful and caring staff. Dr. Lovell is a truly gifted veterinarian who loves animals. They have been caring for our dog for years. We recently bought a puppy in Frisco and made the obligatory visit to their contracted Veterinarian in Frisco. The difference in attitude on the part of the veterinarian and staff was astounding. Suffice it to say that we appreciate Dr. Lovell and his caring Plano staff more than ever after our negative experience in Frisco.

To be honest, I forget now what originally drew me to bring my dogs here- but I am ever so glad that I did! Dr. Lovell and his staff are all very friendly and accommodating. You can really tell that they honestly LOVE animals. Its a relief know my pups are in good hands if I have to drop them off for any reason.
Also, I love that the staff and Dr. Lovell tend to put everything in easy to understand terms and I have never experienced any sort of cost surprises- which is nice. These guys definitely care, and it shows!

I love, love Dr. Lovell and his staff! They are so kind and gentle with my dog. When I first adopted my dog he was very shy and when I took him to see Dr. Lovell, his staff offered to watch him a few hours a week to help socialize him if I wanted! how nice is that. They are alway prompt, kind and give the most gentle care. I would highly recommend coit north to anyone and I have!! My sweet Junior is in he best hands with him.

I originally thought that this vet clinic was a great deal for our family as they offered life time shots in a package deal and seemed to be friendly enough. NOT SO MUCH!!!! After using this vet for 3 years and continually asking myself why each bill was so expensive, I finally wised up and began calling other vets for apples to apples comparison quotes and found out the hard way that this vet clinic is overcharging 2x to 3x what other vets within a 5 mile radius are charging. I confronted the vet to only be passively pushed towards a refund of the overpriced meds he prescribed during our most

Aways a pleasure to see Dr Lovell and his friendly staff. The office is great and everyone is very caring and nice. They are always respectful and honest of my wishes as well as my 2 dogs health.

I like doing business with "good people", those who are honest , forthright and have integrity for themselves plus show a true passion for what they do!

This is the place to be and the excellent care they deliver is very much appreciated. The team work from bottom top, front to back of the totem pole is an exquisite model that many other Vet offices out there should learn from!

Thank
