Since 1998, Tatiana Matthews has been sharing hope, humor, and professionalism with her clients. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) in Georgia and North Carolina. She is the clinical director of Atlanta Specialized Care.
Mrs. Matthews obtained her master of science from East Carolina University, where she majored in clinical rehabilitation counseling with a specialty in addiction and mental health.While acting as a consult liaison in the main medical hospital, she completed her clinical internship in the alcohol and addiction program and the psychiatric unit at Duke University Medical Hospital.

Tatiana was an excellent resource when our youngest child was struggling at school and we recognized the need for intervention. She was able to briefly assess and then recommend psychological testing. Her referral was not only the right fit for our child, but was also geographically convenient and the doctor’s assessment gave us the answers that we needed in order to line up appropriate supplemental resources. Tatiana’s help during early intervention has set our child up for success over the long-haul, and we are so grateful.

I own a couple of preschools and Mrs. Matthews was generous enough to come out and present to our families about "safe touches" with her Fred The Fox Presentation. The parents of these young children really appreciated her time and enthusiasm for the topic. She had a lot of concrete suggestions of how to keep your children safe from child predators.
