You want to better understand yourself and why you are the way that you are. You want to learn how to do something about it that actually works and lasts - to make positive changes in your life and improve your relationships. You want to learn how to show up for yourself. Maybe you feel stuck and are mentally or emotionally exhausted from the chaos of the world.
Or maybe you feel very driven for something more in life. You need something to change but don't know how to make that happen. I know what it's like to feel stuck, which is why I've dedicated my life to helping people get unstuck - to sustainably heal - whether it be anxiety, depression, self-sabotage, substance misuse, relationship issues, an existential or spiritual crisis, or more.

Services
We are considered out-of-network providers and therefore we do not directly accept insurance. Rather than going back and forth with insurance companies all day, we focus on providing the absolute highest level of service to our clients. We can provide you with a billing statement at the end of each month to be submitted for reimbursement if you have PPO, HSA, or other flexible health care benefits.
Everyone gets sad from time to time, and suffering is an inevitable part of life. But when sadness is persistent and gets in the way of you living your daily life, it might be worthwhile to consider if you're experiencing depression. Many who are going through depression say "I feel sad, but not about anything in particular."
Many people think that trauma and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) only occur among people who have gone to war or been the victims of violent assault. Rather, trauma is any event that disrupts our sense of wellbeing and stability. Trauma can be a bad breakup, witnessing a car crash, or suddenly losing a loved one.
Relationships are central to our wellbeing and sense of connectedness in the world. They give our lives meaning and purpose. They can be enriching joyful, and can also be the greatest sources of pain. Relationships with romantic partners, family members, coworkers, and friends can start positively and become stressful and problematic.

I have known John for well over 15 years and he has remained the top professional that I refer to for counseling and advice. He is an active listener and remains engaged and concerned throughout the process. John continues to be a great therapist, and I would highly recommend contacting him if you are looking for a caring and effective therapist.
