There is a special connection we share with our animal companions. It's a bond that transcends the spoken word and stretches far beyond just a pet/owner relationship. These precious creatures pitter patter their way into our hearts and become an integral part of the family. At Wesson Animal Clinic, PC, a Mobile veterinarian, we know how important your four-legged friend is to you.
That's why we take our role as health care provider so seriously. Our team is dedicated to helping you both enjoy as many happy, healthy years together as possible. We achieve this through state-of-the-art medicine and modern treatment options. Beyond this, however, we place a strong emphasis on individualized care.

Services
Caring for a pet involves much more than just providing good food and a safe place to live. It takes an ongoing commitment to manage his or her health. At Wesson Animal Clinic, PC, we're prepared to work with you every step of the way. Together we can improve the chances of your loved one enjoying a long, vibrant life.
Dr. Randy Wesson's formative years were spent on a 300-acre beef cattle farm in Attalla, Alabama, and it was there that his passion for animal care was first sparked. Young Dr. Wesson was fascinated when the local veterinarian would come out to the farm-thanks to the man's expert knowledge and state-of-the-art equipment, he truly could save the day!
At Wesson Animal Clinic, we understand that having a sick pet is stressful. Our clinic and caring staff are fully equipped to examine your pet, diagnose the underlying cause of illness, and provide them with safe and effective treatments to relieve their symptoms and help them recover. Pets instinctively hide signs of sickness, so the earliest symptoms can be difficult to detect.
No one plans for their pet to have a medical emergency, but it can still happen. If your pet has an emergency, you'll need to get them veterinary attention as soon as possible. If your pet becomes seriously ill or injured, our team at Wesson Animal Clinic will be here to help with our critical care veterinary services.
At Wesson Animal Clinic, our veterinarians always recommend the least invasive treatment available that can successfully address a dog's or cat's condition. However, veterinary surgery is still sometimes necessary. Whether your pet needs an operation to address an illness, injury, or musculoskeletal problem or is having an elective procedure like a spay or neuter, your pet will be in competent hands with our experienced team.

Positive:Â Professionalism
We have been with Dr Wesson since the 80s I guess not long after he opened for business. Bulldog and litter. 5 schnauzers and one minpin Dr wesson has always taken time to explain areas of concern and suggestions on how to handle them. Has called in specialists when he feels it is necessary.

My fur baby had an awful ear infection and her regular vet could not see her. I called Wesson and I was able to take her within the hour. She received the BEST care she’s ever had! Mattie has a NEW VET now, and I am most pleased. She had the best night in a year and was even able to sleep with me. She stopped shaking her head and excessive scratching almost immediately! Thank you

I’m a first time cat owner and trying my best with my rescue kitty. Dr. Longo was absolutely great and patient with my cat’s vaccinations and microchip. She even gave me tips and advice as a new cat owner, which I appreciate! Highly recommend their office!

Our cat was not eating or drinking and we told them that on the phone when making an appointment, and she is not the best patient. We left her there at 9:30am, no call or any follow-up up so we called them at 2:30. they were just then trying to draw blood and couldn't because they said she was so dehydrated. Had they started her with some fluids… during those 5 hours maybe getting blood drawn would have been easier. No follow-up up from the dr or tech. When picked her up, same just the front desk person handing off our cat to us with nothing from Dr or tech. Front desk person said we would

My 4 year old cat HATES going to vets and is a nightmare. Our previous vet would have to sedate him even for simple vaccinations. We tried Wesson yesterday and they are miracle workers!! They were able to look… in his mouth and give 2 shots for allergies without sedation or being scratched/bitten. It was one of only 2 good vet visits we’ve had in his whole 4 years in the world. They are now his permanent vet, and 5 stars simply aren’t enough to represent how good they are.

The Dr. Was very understanding of my dog Shelby's current condition and empathized with me as the pet owner in breaking the possible bad news. This vet was a little pricy but I don't feel he ran tests just to run the bill up- he only did procedures I felt were necessary and that was very reassuring.
