Would not recommend living here I'm 6 months into my one year lease and can't wait to be out.
Constant noise
Trash in parking garage all the tjme.
Police are here 2-3 times a month for random occurrences.
Halls are smelly and elevator and dog smell is outrages.
Took them weeks to clean the vomit out of the Parking garage.
I have complained about this before but they did nothing about it. Wish I could leave sooner.

Lived at the Royce for 16 months and the complex has great amenities but that does not make up for the paper-thin walls and how the staff manages noise complaints.
I pity the next tenant who will pay $3200/month for a studio with a maniac neighbor upstairs who aggressively stomps & yells throughout all hours of the day.

Worst of the worst services. Manager is so disrespectful, they're kicking us out of our apartment for something we didn't even do. Honestly i feel like discrimination is playing it's card in this situation.. have been here for 3 years and now entering the 4th. They just found out about our religion they suddenly wanted to kick us out... things are adding up here.

Just moved in and happy with the overall experience. Kathy was the leasing agent and was impressed with how easy she made the whole process. I was looking to move closer to my office and the search was always a headache with most leasing agents when I found the Royce it was a great location and it was a great experience. Kathy was accommodating with my schedule, narrowed down my options / price range, and found the perfect move in date. The complex is well maintained and been great so far. Happy I made the move.

STAY AWAY from the units by the swimming pool!!! Or you'll be forced to listen to the loud music the mannerless pool party folks play for hours, and kids shouting and screaming wknd AND weekdays.....And just last week a group of guys and girls entered the pool at late night and kept talking until past 1:30am, their voice sounded even louder when it's all quiet at midnight. The pool is supposed to be locked after 10pm every day so I called the night time patrol and guess what? Called twice no one answered!

"I would like to specifically name Julian & Ramiro of the Maintenance team for providing white glove service last week. I just moved in and there were a couple of items in my apartment that needed to be restore to working order.
I felt well taking care of and was reassured I made the right choice moving to this property. Thanks to all at The Royce!

I can’t say enough good things about living here. We are wrapping up a 1 year lease at The Royce, and it is sad to leave.
Amenities are great. Parking is so easy. The location is amazing - close to everything and easy access to 405. We highly recommend this place and are continuously having second thoughts about moving up to LA. Hopefully we will return.

I've been a resident for over 2.5 years here. Just renewed my lease again for the third time, second apartment.
If it were not for the tireless efforts, patience and professionalism of the management team, the leasing professionals and the entire maintenance staff, including the vendors that work so diligently to keep the community clean, I could not possibly put my name on this review.
I've lived many places, there is always going to be opportunities for improvement when you are dealing with this many units and this many residents, but, for my hard earned money, this will continue

This place is so good, I moved back. I used to live here for over a year, had to leave the area, and I just moved back here because this is such a great place to live. Seriously, the bad reviews have everything to do with old management.
Since Amanda, Rosa, and Robert have been here - they have done a great job with making sure the complex and the tenants are well taken care of. Disregard the older reviews, they are no longer relevant. This place is a gem! I highly recommend moving here if you are considering it. :)

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to the Royce staff. We have been living here for about a year now. My 3 year old daughter lost her beloved unicorn balloon in some heavy Irvine winds today. We made a sign and had her bring it to the staff and searched the perimeter for it in hopes to find it. We cut our losses and went on about our day. We get a call in the afternoon and it was the Royce staff saying that they replaced her unicorn balloon. Really was not expecting this. The staff are really great people who truly care about their residents. Thank you Royce!!!

I just recently moved into the community and I‘m ecstatic! I was previously living in Hollywood, and wanted to be in a quieter neighborhood by the beach. The first thing I noticed was that the air was cleaner, the breeze is beautiful, and I feel safe to walk my dog at any time during the day. I’m 100% sure she’s also very happy with the move down To orange county. I love that the maintenance team is here every day tending to the upkeep of the communal grounds. During the pandemic and moving forward - I think their presence is important and reassuring. One of my favorite things in my apartment

The Royce is a complete disaster of a community. As someone who has rented in the area for over 10 years, I have never experienced something as completely absurd as the Royce. The staff is a complete joke and do not care, respond to , or perform their basic job functions. They do not actually follow through when notified numerous times for their countless and repeated issues. It is an absolute and complete circus. I love my place at The Royce! Robert was so helpful and made the process so easy! He took the time to show me multiple apartments and was always available to help me through the process. This is an amazing building with super friendly tenants and amazing amenities! The patios are larger than average and overall the apartments are some of the best I've seen in the area. The maintenance staff is super quick to help with issues. The location is so central with so many walkable shops and restaurants.
