I started my fitness journey 6 years ago. After years of high school sports I continued into college with a torn shoulder and no physical activity. A couple years of college, combined with a lack of motivation, put me at a cool 275lbs (276, but who's counting). Finally, some motivation I needed came along - My best friends were getting married and I was in their wedding.in 2 months.

DJ is the first trainer I have ever worked out with. I'm a physical therapist and I never trusted trainers because a lot of patients come to me who got hurt from their trainer working them out too hard.
DJ is well educated and really listened to what movements didn't feel good and adapted my workouts based on what I needed. He even taught me some new exercises and techniques! He did a thorough assessment on the first few visits and is continually assessing how I feel.

I have been working with DJ for about 8 months now and I can definitely tell the difference. I started doing weights because I knew it would be a healthy thing for me to do. I always feel great when I am done and I can see and feel that I am stronger. Dj always makes my hour enjoyable while working out. He is very very knowledgeable about the body. He knows what I need and he knows what I should stay away from because of prior injuries. I totally trust him. I give him the highest recommendation for training. He is passionate about what he does. My husband and I have been doing tandem sessions with DJ 3x a week for over a year now. I am always so impressed by his ability to focus on both of us simultaneously. He is quick to correct any flaws in our form to ensure we are not only working out hard, but working out smart. He has a lot of knowledge on exercise and diet which he always shares with us, which allows us to maintain the same level of fitness even on days when we aren't being trained by him. Could not recommend him enough!!

DJ is awesome! I ran a 5K for the first time and he was there to support me every step of the way! He helped with my form, my breathing, and pushed me to do my best, checking along the way to make sure I wasn't pushing myself too much. I was so excited when I finished the race and I think he was just as excited for me. I would recommend Virtue.Fit to anyone who needs to get in shape or just someone who needs an accountabil-a-buddy!
