Wellhaven Pet Health
It never takes too long for a new four-legged friend to become part of the family. Whether it's a tiny kitten or an adult rescue dog, their unconditional love is infectious! You do what you can to make sure they're happy, comfortable, and safe. But when something is wrong (and can't be cured by a treat), you want to find out what it is.

With decades of experience, the staff at the Woodbury WellHaven are here to help. We provide thorough examinations, offer a clean and comfortable environment for you and your pet, and promise to do everything we can to get them up and running around - or contently napping in a sunbeam - again. On any given day at any vet clinic, there are a lot of emotions on display.
Services
We've put our heart and soul into every inch of our clinic. We work hard to ensure that every single visit is met with smiling faces and a clean and calm environment. Dr. Veronica Nagel graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in Zoology and Anthropology. She became care giver at a primate rescue center in Florida, when she slowly realized her passion for medicine and caring for animals.
Whether you're bringing home a new puppy or kitten or spending the golden years with your senior pet, we'll be there. WellHaven Pet Health Woodbury is a full-service animal hospital, offering everything from wellness care to pet surgery services, and everything in between. If you're experiencing an emergency, we'll be there for that, too.
We take our new puppy here. The staff is great, and they have a monthly plan if you value not paying for every office visit. We opted to go without it but have been happy with our puppy's first few months of vet care so far. We also recently tried their doggy daycare. After a very negative experience with another daycares/boarding kennel, Wellhaven was so much better.
We're here for all stages of your pet's life. In many respects, care for your furry family member should resemble the care the rest of the family gets. Just like well visits for children and checkups for adults, annual examinations allow us to keep track of your pet's wellbeing.

When you bring in your pet for the first time, we'll be able to establish an overall baseline for your pet which will lead to health recommendations and decisions going forward.Annual exams are an important part of your pet's ongoing care. During these appointments, we'll perform a full nose-to-tail exam while checking eyes, nose, ears, and skin.
Let us help protect your pet. Annual vaccinations, monthly treatments for fleas, ticks, and other parasites, and regularly scheduled office visits all play a part in keeping your pet in good physical condition. By protecting your pet against preventable illness and disease, you give your pet the best chance at a long, healthy life.

They’re amazing, super friendly. Great place for dogs that get nervous at the vet because they are all about making the dog feel welcomed and a positive experience. Best vet and experience for us and we’ve been to a handful of vets in Woodbury before finding this one.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this clinic! We bring our puppy here, and they have always been amazing with her! As a new dog mom, I also have questions and concerns about EVERYTHING- they are SO helpful and patient through my frequent calls- and I always feel better and more informed when I get off the phone, or leave their office!
Also, big perk- our puppy LOVES walking through their doors because she’s treated so well there!

Incompetent. Unorganized. Misleading.
-Every time we called to leave a message to our vet, those messages were never received
-Did not send us home with antibiotics after surgery and made us drive back in rush-hour the same day to get them
-Quoted us a price for a surgery and charged $1000 more (including “supply fees” even though the surgeon brings his own supplies). Even the morning of surgery I specifically asked what I was signing and why there was no written quote. I made the front desk staff look up how much the quote would be. They still overcharged us by a lot.
-Never sent us our

My dog Greta and cat Basil were seen there on Friday October 29. They were nice enough, but I had a feeling that they were trying to make as much money from me as they could, they recommended a number of medications and l took all of them. Upon the vets recommendation, I gave her all of the medication at once with her food that night. She got extremely sick, and I almost had to take her to the vet. I had used one of each medication, and one was unopened. I had also signed a contract (yes I admit I signed it) indicating that I was locked in for a year. Given that she got sick, I called them and

This was Sparky's, my 11 yo pug, first visit, and from the receptionist who made my appointment to the technician who met us at the door, everyone was friendly and helpful, and made me feel that he would be in good hands. And he was. I was informed of Sparky's condition and told of what I could do to clean his ears. They were transparent regarding costs of each procedure, and what I should do to help Sparky (he needs a doggy diet!0. WellHaven will definitely be the source for all my veterinarian health care for Sparky, and his sister, Glady's, my tabby, when she needs it.

I brought my cat in there because her tail bone popped out of her tail. They were amazing! They kept in contact with me throughout the day while she got her tail amputated, they went through the cost of everything charge before moving forward, prices were not outrageous, and are respond quickly if you end up having any questions after you appointment. I highly recommend them!

The services were great. Able to drop off, and pick up with no issues. They also called me a day or so later to make sure my cat was doing okay. Will definitely be back, and highly recommend.

This was our first visit to WellHaven for a simple nail trim and grind. Jäger is not a fan of having his nails done. The staff were amazing at making him feel calm and comfortable. We will definitely be back!!
