At All Stars Pediatric Dentistry, we are here to make your child's dental experience as easy as possible. Whether this is your child's first visit or you are a returning customer, we have the information you need. Our office gets commonly asked questions from parents just like you who are unsure about our procedures.
For some dental procedures like cavity fillings or tooth extraction, our office may use laughing gas (or nitrous oxide) to help calm your child's nerves. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) approves nitrous oxide as a safe and effective treatment for easing oral pain and reducing dental anxiety.
Pediatric dentists have years of additional training after dental school to learn specialized procedures in children's oral care. These dentists are dedicated to patients as young as one or as old as their late teens. Any parent knows that children of all ages need a unique approach to deal behavior, dental anxiety, and oral development.

Dr. John is the best pediatric dentist around! I cannot say enough kind things about this wonderful man, his staff and their approach to children with a fear of dentistry. My oldest saw a different dentist when he was young that traumatized him badly. Dr. John has been so gentle and patient with him. In fact, his last dental procedure he had to have anesthesia at another dental office because he had so much fear over what happened when he was smaller. Today, Dr. John was able to pull my son’s tooth, in the office, with just a local anesthetic. My son totally trusts him. If I could give him 10

My daughter was scared to go to a new dentist. They were all so friendly and accommodating. They thoroughly explained everything and made sure she was ready and not scared. The hygienist was able to clean her teeth better than any other visit at a different dentist, and Dr. John was so nice. She said this dentist was so much fun!

We LOVE all stars and Dr. John and never plan on going anywhere else! They are all wonderful, friendly and very engaging with the children. Our last visit for a filling for my daughter was so quick and painless she hardly even knew what was happening. They have all sorts of kid friendly touches like TV's above the dental chairs and fun colorful attachments for all the equipment. Not to mention the laughing gas smells like bubble gum which my daughter thought was so cool! My daughter keeps asking when she gets to go back and have her teeth cleaned again so I think she approves as well! You guys

Dr John and the staff here are awesome. We ended up at his practice when our other dentist wouldn’t bother to see her for an emergency issue due to terrible pain. They let us come in to see our daughter as a new patient and not only were they really accommodating for my daughter they did it with such professionalism. We ended up switching to this practice for our kids going forward because of this awesome practice. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a great and practical pediatric dentist.
