Chef and owner Jose Salazar created Goose & Elder as a casual restaurant and bar showcasing American comfort food with a focus on fresh, healthy, local and sustainable ingredients. We are open all day, six days a week (closed Mondays), with brunch on Saturday and Sunday and a late-night bar.

Tasty food, friendly staff, and a nice laid back atmosphere. What more can one ask for?
The Royal Goose burger and mozzarella sticks were both very good. The dark chocolate brownie was excellent—thick and decadent, with some chunks of chocolate in the mix, covered with a wonderfully flavorful salted caramel sauce that never turned watery or hard. Maybe go for the dessert and stay for the food and drink? 😉
I look forward to coming back here again!

Good brunch spot right next to Findlay market.
Get a mimosa carafe if you plan on ordering more than 2 drinks.
The avocado toast serving size is very small, with sizing expected of an appetizer.
The goetta hash is savory and a great comfort food.
The fries with the goose sauce is very tasty, no matter the mealtime!
Slow brunch service (it was very busy at the time so probably not always an issue) & very limited caffeine options.

This restaurant is right in front of the most happening Findlay market. Good place for a brunch .
As there are no reservations it’s kinda difficult to get a perfect walk in .
Food is great. As a vegetarian I had the veggie burger which was amazing and also the twisted French fries completed my meal.
Also I learnt that the food is healthy as well.

The food was absolutely amazing. We got the duck and the chicken schnitzel and I would highly recommend both. The dining was very casual and was very cute on the inside. They also had outdoor seating and the bar and bathroom area was really cool. Our server was great. Exceptional customer service and was honest and really good about his recommendations. They had a unique cocktail list and great beer list that rotates as well. I would highly recommend.

9/3/21: Visiting Cincinnati for the weekend and stopped in for a snack and drink. The Bourbon Nectar was very refreshing!
They were short staffed so service was slow and the crew was working hard. My dining partner and I ordered the roasted cauliflower and brussel sprouts, grain bowl, and veggie quesadilla. The quesadilla had way too much cheese. The roasted cauliflower and brussel sprouts were tossed in a curry sauce. It was slightly overcooked but still good. Grain bowl was a great mix of beets, falafel, tomatoes, cucumber, and quinoa unfortunately it was a bit bland.
I'd be back to try other

My partner and I had a great dinner with lots of apps/small plates and an entree. The service and food were amazing. American food with great quality. Small touches that make what might seem like standard menu items elevated.House made sauces that are just really tasty and unique. We will definitely be back again.
